This was the best show i have ever seen. The energy was like nothing i have ever experienced. I was at coldplay's first l.a. show at a tiny club in 2001. This felt the same, watching a new band on the brink of superstardom. Great night.
@vbarbarino do you remember where you saw coldplay? I saw them a couple years ago at the home depot center, and that was an amazing show. but of the 20 or so band i've seen this year, foster the people is in the top three with Kanye West @Coachella and Adele @The Greek taking the other two spots. You're so right though...so much energy. I didn't get to see them at Coachella since I was outside of the tent, and I'm stoked that I purchased tickets to actually see them this time. The crowd rocked!
@screenright7 I saw Coldplay @ the Mayan. I haven't been there in a while, but I know it is downtown near Staples somewhere. The best part of that show was Chris Martin stopping the show in the middle to tell how "lucky we were to be seeing them in such a small venue", since they would "be playing stadiums the next time". He was totally right. The next time they came ot Los Angeles, they played the Hollywood Bowl.

I wish I'd seen Adele, she is great.
