I agree. I mean, I've never posted photos of myself or given any important details about my personal life on any social network, not Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, nowhere. And why? Because safety on the internet is important, especially for kids. Kids don't know what's right for them. I'm not being mean, I was once a kid of course, but what they consider "cool" can end in the worst way. Parents, keep an eye on your kids. I'm not saying u should spy on them, just protect them from pedophiles.

This is great video for people to learn how to stay safe on the internet, but some of what they say is a bit hypocritical. For example, telling someone you are 14 years old is ok. If the person you are chatting with tells you he/she is 16 when the chatter really isn't is also ok as long as you do not send the person a photo of you, phone number, etc. Think about it, how could someone use your age to track you down without knowing your location, phone number or what you look like?
