I would like to know if the cartridge is more readily available over the .338 lapua , the lapua is pretty popular , anybody know ? Either way I think you'll have to start reloading.
How does this gun compare with bolt action rifles? If it is MOA accuracy, why would any one buy a bolt action? It's lighter 17lbs (bolt action 30+)Ever see someone crank off 3 rounds off hand with a bolt action 408. Smokin system dude.
VR makes very good rifles

From the company website, the rifle doesn't look too large. But when it's resting on the shoulder of a man...holy ass that thing is a monster.

I would imagine the .408 would penetrate any body armor available.

Even if it didn't it will still make a mess of what ever it hits.

Yea. Except when those targets start shooting back. Then you will wish you had that semiauto!

In 408 and 338 Lapua the VR1 rifles shoot 1 MOA
The rifle is designed around the 1.25 Bull Barrel, One of the many reasons it is so accurate.
