  • This is what a moment in time sounds like!

  • Isao Tomita - Footprints in the snow<<<One of my favorites!

  • hI!!! ITS A PLEASURE TO ENJOY THIS MUSIC, COULD YOU HELP ME WITH ONE QUESTION? A FRIEND TOLD ME THAT ONE OF TOMITO´S CREATION WAS USED IN BONES (SERIES AT FOX) AS A SOUNDTRACK IN THE ADVERTISMENT OF THE SERIES, TO ME, IT SOUNDS LIKE A TANGO...OR ELECTRONIC TANGO, DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA ABOUT WHICH ONE COULD BE?

  • Cryptozoology novel see video book trailer

  • completely timeless

thanks for uploading-havnt heard this since i was a tiny kid!

  • Autotune back then...so haunting and evocative...curse you, Justin Bieber!!

  • Wonderful !

  • Lifetime subscriber. fantasy at its best. this is what YouTube is all about.

  • so atmospheric sounding, really quality of work you just dont hear now, Tomita took 14 months of 6 hours a day, 5 days a week to make "Snowflakes are dancing" the album from which this comes

  • I've watched a ton of your vids Tri.... and for the most part they're superb! For me though, this one is over the top! Switching to full screen mode.... simply stunning!! What a mood you've created here. Bravo!! ~KKIng

  • Earlier synths had so much more depth or 'warm' I guess is the word. Seems like the pioneers had a smaller pallete to work with. Which enhanced there expression. Electronic music now its quite hard to find distinct originals sounding people. Its almost if everyone is trying to reprogram the trite common musical language or something.

  • @ge1org1e Early electronica was just spookier.

  • Great video.

  • very good

  • good

  • berdareramente asobroso es en realidad una exelente interpretacion y es de mis favoritas gracias por tu musica.

  • Hello, Mr. Trichoone. Your tributes to Tomita are appreciated since they bring back great memories of his music. I did buy several of his albums despite the cost because of his ability to elicit spiritual moods. The music he chooses to interpret is astounding. He couldn't have picked a better person to showcase his music via video, Please keep up the great work!

  • thankyou very much for your pleasent comment .

  • car boot sales my friend, car boot sales, pretty muched picked up the whole collection for peanuts over the years, the only one that was full price was the compilation my dad bought in '82 that i obsessed over and later stole from him, which he has now stolen back....never trust old people......

  • @vdwest4592 I'm with you, agreed!

  • picture at 2:15 is beyond words also 1:52 very beautiful I love the music it's really good meditation music thanks for posting!

  • We used to make up stories to Tomitas records when we were in High School and this one was exactly like we imagined!! I used to say that the whining sound was the Yeti!! LOL You are brilliant!

  • well thankyou we must be on the same wavelength .

  • Greetings Trichoone! Happy holly days from Seattle

    Marco

  • Seems to me this is bizarre.

  • @eshakunamatata It is. Which, of course, is what makes it such a masterpiece.

  • FilmsEnZo, I see your point, and understand what you mean. Peace :):):)

  • trichoone, I think the yeti and the "ping" was well executed. Yeti came into focus, stayed there for a split second for the viewer to register and the ping gave the image a proper accent. Timing was well done. This is just my interpretation. Thank you for Tomita's music.

  • Tomita!!!!!!!!!! :):):):):)

  • Hello Trichoone, very nice, this music ads the perfect atmosphere to go with the images. You might have put the Yeti at the end of the movie just at the "ping" in the music, not somewhere before. But that is only my humble opinion.

I used the same music with my movie "Hoe zeere vallen ze af" (translated: how deerly they fall, those sick summer leaves). greatings from Holland.

  • ;-)

    Perfect

  • Very good.

When i first heard Snowflakes Are dancing it made me want to do 2 things.

1 find out who Debussy was and

2 find out how a synth works!

Still working on that last one! ;)

  • Isao is a genius before he was born. I knew him then. And It was a creative beginning..like all the creations of a dedicated engineer of happiness. God Bless Isao Tomita. I began a friendship in Okinawa in the '70s and always believed he was the master of thought provoking, very advanced music. -david

  • Tomita es volatil, musica de vuelo. En Quito Ecuador todos vacilan a Isao y se disparan al cosmos, me gusta tambien Planets , Pajaro de Fuego y Triangulo de las Bermudas.

    Long life Tomita's fans.

  • Al inicio del video: No es esa la bandera del Ecuador? (aproximadamente a los 17 segundos). Solo una observacion.

  • Muy buen aporte, se agradece.

  • thank you very much.... that was fast. This one is my husband's favorite among the songs from Tomita's album "Snowflakes are Dancing". Thanks again. very nice video too...
