I agree that self control and contraception are necessities, but sometimes, for example if the woman is raped, abortion is the best option (i.e. its not her fault). The vast ignorance just your question betrays aside, there are many instances in which an abortion is performed precisely to avoid harm: the baby is gonna die two minutes after it's born, the baby will kill the mother when she tries to deliver it, the baby itself will die during delivery.

@litcguitarist is all that matters. Look around you with shows like Jersey Shore, Desperate Housewives, Wife Swap, Mother's Roadhouse, little big world, 700 club, all permanent news shows. All media that tries to be a sort of "reality" show has figured out that reality is boring so they create an explosive reality filled with violence, hatred, sex, and anything outrageous that hooks you in. Once in a blue moon a real show makes it on tv that inspires, and thats what you have to hold on to.

O'reilly shouldn't feel bad because of his reports. His reports didn't kill Tiller, the man with the gun did. And the fact is that Tiller DID kill babies. Ah, now you're absolutely right that abortion is not to be done willy nilly. I agree that self control and contraception are necessities, but sometimes, for example if the woman is raped, abortion is the best option (i.e. its not her fault). Also, if the baby is going to be severely disabled, that is also a justification for it.
