  • I wish i could buy this series on blu-ray.

  • @5:24..great pass from Toni Kukoc to MJ..those were the days..:-)

  • wow they raped them

  • I remember my dad talking to me about this series

his heart was pumping the whole time

thanks for posting my dad can relive those memories

  • wheres Fred Hoiberg?

  • 1:54 Michael Jordan the greatest player of All time !

  • THIS is SCOTTIE PIPPEN...:))))OWNED!!!!

  • this was the real 1998 nba finals because the winner of this series would have won the title because indi did better against the bulls than utah did and utah had home court which means indi would have killed utah indi had this game too wish reggie got his ring

  • The play at 5:23 is awesome. Kukoc was an underrated passer. He may be one of the top big man passing greats.

  • 3:05 tHATS tO MUCH SPACE

  • oooh love the dunk of jordan @ 5:26 man! you CANNOT jump with JORDAN , HE'LL JUMP TO YOU HIGHER AND HIGHER! lol

  • yea mark jackson was buggin trynna jump lol

  • Its a shame u never got to watch the NBA on CBS in the 80s with Dick Stockton and Hubie Brown classic stuff and the best of all NBA broadcasts. Marv and Costas are great and the NBA on NBC was pretty good but nothing compares to the NBA on CBS from the 80's and one of the biggest reason y??? No fucking douchebags like Bill Walton and Jeff Van Gundy. How can ne one let those fucks behind a mic?

  • 7:43 got OWNED!!!!!!

  • 1:50 enough said from Isiah Thomas

  • What a great way to bounce back after that heartbreaking loss in game 4. Da Bulls Defense was just spectacular. The play of the game was the MJ dunk at 5:26 They made us forget about that game 4 loss real quick.

  • God I miss the NBA on NBC. Jeff Van Gundy, Marc Jackson, and Mike Breen make Isiah Thomas sound like a damn genius lol

  • Isn't that the truth. And I really didn't like the NBA on NBC except for Marv and Costas. The NBA on CBS with Dick Stockon and Hubie Brown was by far the best for me overall with Marv Albert and Mike Fratello a close second. It's a shame they never gave Costas a good partner cause he is great to listen too.But I will take anybody over douche bag Bill Walton and Jeff Van Idiot!

  • Yeah I agree man, didn't really care for anyone other than Marv and Costas, but I loved listening regardless of who they got paired with. I loved Fratello, Magic and Marv. I was born in 89 so I really didn't get to experience Stockton and Hubie but having heard them in ESPN classic telecasts or separately when they're on TNT sometimes I agree they are fun commentators. I wish today's game were on TNT only, they do so much better than ESPN/ABC. Must be because they "know drama" lol.

  • ABC/ESPN's choice of theme music absolutely kills the mood...Pussycat Dolls? Country music? Really? lol I mean if they brought back just John Tesh's Roundball Rock theme I think I would be 10 times more excited to watch their games. Not to mention, Jeff Van Gundy is too busy making stupid new suggestions (AKA no fouling out, half court shots being worth 4 points) and Marc Jackson is too busy loving Kobe to offer intelligent commentary.

  • they definitely dunk harder nowadays

  • SMH...

    How silly is that?!!

I guess they shoot & pass harder too huh?

  • nah, they were better shooters and passers back then, but now they dunk more often

  • No wonder Mark Jackson is a Jordan hater! Jordan punked him when he was a Knick and a Pacer! Sorry loser, sorry little man! Little man syndrome!!!!

  • lmaoooo your right....Jordan Dunked on him and pippen locked him down on defense

  • They meant Playoff and Regular Season combined- Regular Season 29,277 (In 1998) and Playoffs 5,987 (at Conclusion of Playoffs) After he retired in 2003 his combined Regular/Playoff total was over 38,000.

  • MIKESOWELL: thank you! I was waiting for someone to say MJ's total points regular season & playoff combined when he retired in 2003

  • where did that 35,000 point total come from? I thought he was only at around 32,000?

  • 32,000 regular season only. 35,000 playoffs and regular

  • The way Pippen shut Mark Jackson down in this series was unbelievable. Pippen not having DPOY trophy for atleast a single season is biggest robbery of NBA history.

  • How about Tim Duncan? Never received that award either.

  • Yeah but Pippen was shutting down quick smaller guards to power forwards to centers. Thats some defensive versitility. Dunkin aint even close.

  • @kOrOne79 Fuck Tim Duncan

  • @kOrOne79 agreed but i still think Pippen not getting it is a bigger snub.

  • I would have to agree with you on that one. Pippen was the best defender for many years. He proved it in this series. He shut down Mark Jackson for the whole series. 1991 he slowed down Magic Johnson. Every time they had to take defensive weight from MJ they used Scottie. One problem is guarding Reggie Miller if Scottie is busy with Mark Jackson. Reggie shot the lights out in this series even though they lost. In this game triangle offense killed the pacers!

  • yes it was. without pippen's defense on jackson, the bulls don't win the series.

  • hey does any1 realise or not....only jordan dared to have midrange jumpshot...and kobe dared not shoot any during the final ....so they are not the same

  • Also Kobe has no postup game like the great MJ.

  • If you look at this video again you'll see how much Scottie Pippen took over in the first half. MJ had a lot of time to actually sit down. When MJ came back he was fresh and ready to go. Scottie was amazing in this one. That may be why they won by almost 30. Triangle offense confused the pacers too.

  • Mark Jackson got posterizes

  • 5:26-5:40 one of the many reasons Mark( i can't beat MJ in the playoffs)Jackson will tell you kobe is better than MJ

  • To even suggest Kobe is even COMPAREABLE to MJ is ludicrous.

  • mark jackson suks!!!

  • I love it when mark jackson tries to backdown Pippen, at the 8:15 mark and he just swats it away.

  • That was funny. I wonder what Mark Jackson was thinking anyway. That's like Kobe trying to back down Shaq

  • at 5:26 commenter says HELLO LOL

  • Ahh the good old days.

  • u see u have to score to win...but the key for the Bulls was the D...D is the key...best team Defense ever man...

  • Actually, they played a Game 7 against New York in 1992.

About the Pacers series, you're wrong on both accounts. Bulls gave two games away in Indianapolis and won at home with ease (with the exeption of Game 7).

The Bulls wanted it more in the last minutes of Game 7, Jordan made the right plays and collected some key rebounds, Pippen hit two jumpers, Kerr's three and so on. Miller and the rest of the gang were nowhere to be seen.

  • They way you phrase it makes me think that's probably what happened...

  • Mark Jackson was on the teams that took the Bulls to a Game 7 twice in six championship runs. ('92 Knicks and '98 Pacers)

  • Your talking about the 2nd round of the playoffs in 92, not the eastern conference finals. But yes, the Bulls were taken to 7 games against the Nicks in the playoffs.

  • explain, give me evidence of where at in the game these things happen? point out the bad calls that changed the game?

  • the Knicks took them to a game 7 dumbass. before you go try to talk basketball get your facts straight.

  • Someone already said that dumbass. Before you go try talking on youtube, get your facts straight.

  • really? how about the butt fucking referees gave to Jordan in game 4 when Miller shoved MJ hard as hell to get open & hit the game winner & keep series alive to go to game 6.

  • Yeah, I saw it when that happened. My mom even told me she saw it too. So, how do the refs miss that stuff when old ladies can see it? I thought it was a beautiful series. Worth paying good money to be there. Wish I had been there. There was a lot of contact in this series. MJ would elbow Jalen Rose and Jalen would hit MJ back without the ref being able to see it. A lot of the contact was hidden. The players were good at hiding all of the blows.

  • You stupid fuck, '92 Bulls-Knicks series went Game 7. ITS BECAUSE OF GOAT CALLED MJ I can count 7-8 series that SHOULD"VE gone to game 7. MJ WAS TOO MUCH OF A GOAT TO LET THAT HAPPEN. ''92 Bulls Cavs series '92 Bulls Blazers series '93 Bulls Knicks series '93 Bulls Suns series '96 Bulls Magic series '97 Bulls Jazz series '97 Bulls Jazz series Those are legit 7-game series from NBA Golden Era standards. MJ made sure things ended in 6 games. Now go back to KOBE COCK SUCKING
  • have all these on tape, no choice but to growing up in chicago

  • This was a great series. One of the best.

  • LOL at Isiah Thomas at 1:48. "That's not fair."

  • no best series ever... the knicks series is over hyped because it is the knicks and has some good highlights... This series was always one two points away every quater except this game

  • lol the waiter!!

  • i dont think it was just a coincedence that they said that all the games had been close at the beggining of the game...~_~

  • Wish could see the whole game

  • "bom! i'm gone there is again"

  • Thanx for posting. This was one of the best Bulls playoff series other than the Bulls and Knicks. Those shots by Jordan in the 3rd quarter were off the charts. I can't wait to see the final installment--Game 7!

  • Cant wait for Game 7 - Its the game Ive read about in which Sports writers have made comment that it was the defining game of Jordans career. Not flashy, not dynamic, but it was all determination from the Bulls and Jordan. Their first challenging game / series since Knicks in '92.. that Game 7 being one of the greatest Ive ever seen by MJ

  • love that! HELLO? HELLO?

  • The Bulls even defeated the Jazz like this in Game 3 of Finals that same year

  • see the air of that dunk! sick

  • don't you love watching them play? miss those old good days! best team ever!

  • I hear ya

  • korone79, thanx dude! the things you did help me love MJ more! thanx

  • Jordan from Pippen..sweet as you please ! :)

  • I love this series, Miller vs Jordan?... Classic.

  • than k u so much i love this series.

will u upload the next 2 games?

  • great videos.

definitely post the 1991 bulls/pistons game

also, can you post some games from 95 bulls/magic series? people forget how nasty MJ was during that series, even while rusty and still in baseball shape. he dunked on shaq and had a lot of "air" highlights...

  • I don't have that series, only the Bulls-Magic series from '96.

  • Okay... everyone knows MJ and Pippen were the best players in the NBA all throughout the 90s...but GOD DAMN!!!

  • What a great serie (for both teams). THIS was playoff time, do or die, the game the bulls had to win if they were to go to the finals. But all those guys, from both teams, were real champions, pushing their limits game after game. Even with the talent, most of us would have explode in that kind of serie.

  • at the 5:34 dunk, you think mark jackson would have learned his lesson after being dunked on so many times by Jordan aganst the knicks.

  • There's another furious dunk from Pippen on Jackson in Game 7, you'll love it.

  • You're right alaskanmarine1. MJ dunked on him in gm 1 of this series, he dunked on him when he was with the Knicks and the last reg. season against the Pacers in 97-98 at Chicago, MJ throw the ball at Mark Jackson because MJ thought Mark Jakson was going under him as he was going up on a breakaway. That's probably why Mark Jackson made the comment that Kobe in the end would be better than MJ because MJ dunked on him so much..lol

  • MJ set the tone early in that game by going into the post and Reggie especially with the bad ankle from the last couple games couldn't handle him down low

  • Mark Jackson trying to post up Pippen was pretty funny.

  • 9 times All-Defensive 1st team for MJ & 7 for Pippen?? Wow.. No wonder they won 6 rings. Pippen was extremely lucky to have a mentor like MJ who must have challenged him physically & mentally in every single practice

  • The league just hasn't been the same since MJ & Scottie were doin' their thing.

  • I wish they would release more of these games to DVD, much appreciation.

  • Man I miss MJ! Best NBA player ever.

  • Can't wait for Game 6. You doing the finals from the same year???

  • Eventually, but not in the near future.

After Game 7 of this series I'll post some regular season games first.

  • I just want you to know that all of us MJ fanatics absolutely love the work you do to get the games on YouTube. Thanks for everything. Can't wait to see more.

  • Thanks a lot.

After a couple of regular season games I'll probably add the Bulls-Pistons series from 1991.
