Saw these guys a lot in the early days and am overwhelmed with their talent to this day. I was a Jamie Wednesday fan pre-CUSM.

Haven't been back to Streatham in yonks but still have my 12" copy of 'Vote For Love' (I photographed the cover) their rendition of 'White Horses' still gives me goosebumps! I also found all the Fostex portastudio tapes they gave me - which has a cracking version of Les singing 'Can't take my eyes off you'.

I saw them once in 92 in Lisbon and it was great gig, only 200ppl there to c USM cause few ppl know them in portugal, few but good, i envy u all ppl who went to last November show in brixton, i saw some videos and i guess it was a great show.

Carter are the best. I saw then at Glasgow Barrowlands last week playing their 20th anniversary gig. My ears are still recovering. They're playing one last gig at Brixton but it's sold out.
