If the iPhone is on 4.0 already this will not work this video is obselete. U will need to downgrade to 3.13 or another firmware that u have saved the shsh files on cydia. So if you have been jailbroken before watch my other new video on how to downgrade

@CaneCanCook i dont know what part your stuck on. Are you talking about after restoring to a custom restore. if the phone froze then you either need a att sim then plug up to itunes or just do the restore process again and try in restore mode not dfu. dont upgrade to 4.0 at all unles its a custom restore.

What I originally did was take out my T-moblie sim. Unchecked the blue box and set it to 959 and followed the steps through till 7:47min. It says to connect the phone and I do and it just keeps loading and loading and loading.

@texp8 run iforcast to make sure you have the old boot rom. but this will only work if you have jailbroken this device with something other than spirit before.

For those who are having problems jailbreaking like there's no pineapple after going to DFU mode or being stuck at some point this is the solution: 1st Restart your computer and when your computer is opening press F8 and go to SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING and there you will be on safe mode and your pc will look like an old windows 98 theme and do your jailbreak there. It will 100% work if your having problems. If you restart again your pc it will return to the normal theme.

As a att customer or tmobile customer. once you have a working iphone that is jailbroken and internet, mms and calling work. Just never update! anything that comes with the update will be available in jailbroken form. Just be patient. What could you possibly want other than multi tasking and backgrounds, you can get that from pro switcher and vwallpaper...done

@GNaranjoN its because you have the new bootrom you must be on 5.11.07 basband and have a older bootrom. well or 4.26.08. also try using dfu mode and restore mode. this is not for baseband 5.12.01 or 5.13. or whatever 4.0 will put your phone on if you dont use a custom restore

the unlock is after completein the steps above and starting your phone up using a att sim card and connecting to itunes then unplugging before att activates the phone and add the source cydia.pushfix.info to cydia. inside that source will be blacksn0w rc2 for ios 4 instal that and wait 90 seconds and you will be unlocked
