Not a bad work. However, I have one minor gripe. When Lusitania was torpedoed, her funnels were painted all black, something most people don't remember. This was during World War I, so, most passenger liners had painted their funnels black, so as to not cut a huge silhouette on the ocean.

READ IT!!! in 1902 A little boy and girl were playing on the beach. Then, A BIG wave, like a mini tidal-wave, came, and knocked them over. When they finally opened their eyes, A guy with a mask and a bunch of bandages on him was standing over them. He had a sword. He cut them up and drank their blood. copy & paste this to 2 other videos, or the boy and girl will cut u up with 2 swords.

Not all, you've got Queen Mary (I and II), Olympic etc. But most of those that sank was torpedoed or blown up by some other country military machine...
Britannic was mined in the Aegean. The Lusitania was torpedoed by a U-Boat and it pissed off the Americans to the point where they joined the war AGAINST Germany just about two years later.
Hey, it was really LUSITANIA who was sunk by torpedo!!! The BRITANNIC was sunk by a mine when entering in a mine field, near the Greek island of Kea! This is the 1st justification. Here are the next ones:
-->Britannic had only one compartment flooded. Was not supposed to sink, but its watertight doors weren't functioning correctly;
-->The captain tried to beach the ship in Kea, but was too late;
-->From people onboard(crew/wounded), only sixteen, I think, died because of the ship's blades.
Most of the thirty one casulties were killed by the propellers. 29 died because of the propellers, the other two died in and explosion. As the boats were lowered the Captain was trying to beach her as you said. So as soon as the falls were disconnected from the boat the propellers began to draw the boats in as they rose out of the water. Also the BRITANNIC was still moving as she sank.
dude this is good but where are you getting your info. I'm a Lusitania historian and alot of this info i haave not ever herd of. Two lifeboats there were only six safely lowered. And no were i have herd of her third funnel falling of the ship. She was not the only liner sailing in the war. This is very good but look over your info.
Well, they actually were, but in WWI They were painted black. I don't know why, so that answers questions about black funnels. They were originally red, but painted black in the war.
Where did you get that they were painted black during the war?? I have read a lot regarding this ship and never came across that piece of information. I am curious whether is true. Do you have the source?.
You should see Ken Marshall's painting of the LUSITANIA before her final voyage, and their black. They were painted black during the war so the enemy side (Germany, I suppose) wouldn't know what shipping line and country she was from.
That does not make any sense. Why would they want to "disguise" a passanger liner into something "unknown" during the war when what actually protected the ship (in theory at least) was precisely that was in fact a passenger liner. That would've been stupid from them. Besides the German always knew the ship's route and itinerary to extent that they sent many messages to passengers not to board the ship cause it was a military target.
You make good points, but that's what they did. I suppose it was because if they didn't know what line it was from, they wouldn't know what country it was from and would be unsure whether to sink it or not. Being inconspicuious. The Warning post to the LUSITANIA passengers came out the day before or of the voyage. It was a year after WWI started and civilians didn't know everything going on we do now from history books.
The thing is that no one seems to be sure whether they were painted or not. Everything I said was based on the painting of the funnels as a guess (i didn't know either), if in fact they were, well, obviously it had to make sense at the time for the people who did. I still beleive it was a very poor strategy, after all the ship was sunk, right?.
FTW is this? So fat ship...

I read it in a book... I forget what it's called, though. (I checked it out of a library) Just research it... I'm sure you can find it somewhere.

All pictures of the ship are black and white. So, there was no colour on the funnels and they were black. In real life colour they were red
