@stitch99 More accurately The Federation doesn't have a form of currency. Though in "The Trouble With Tribbles" Uhurah and the salesman haggle over prices. Also in "The Errand of Mercy" episode when preparing to fight the Klingons, Kirk said "Well, the Federation has spent a lot of money on our training..." There are also many instances with money during DS9 with dealing with Quark/latinum.
