  • Nice chops dude...

    Cheers!

  • srv style = hendrix- band of gypsys era..... so video title is kind of redundant.

  • @HackerGuitarist your face is redundant.

  • Fuzz face is a little to assy for me, Nice playing by the way, If you are not a Scott Henderson fan already get a copy of Tore down house, you have alot of his inflection in your playing, which is a awesome :)

  • Nice!

  • I love the sound it really sounds like the sound Hendrix used

  • Actually he used a ts808. It was his favorite.

  • Nice sound!

If you're into SRV and tubescreamers you should check out the ibanez ts10.. It was SRVs favorite screamer. :-)

  • Great sound

  • love the tones....

    what amp you playin' through?

    be well, happy, andppeaceful

    Bela Ray

  • very great sound !

  • wow, silicon fuzzface doesn't sound bad on a fender clean!!!!!

  • same shoes as gearmanndude's. =D

  • why does everyone that have videos like this wear snake skin boots

  • You've obviously never seen SRV.

  • WOWOWOW

    Perfect tone!!!

PLEASE tell us how the pedals were connected? First Fuzz than overdrives or the opposite?

Also how come the fuzz is so powerful with such low setting?

    Amp settings too! ;)

  • i think the chain is guitar > TS-808 > TS-9 > fuzz face > amp.

  • Dude look at the damn video. The signal path is right in front of you.

  • i really like your overdriven tone. what are your amp settings and guitar volume settings at?

  • nice boot~is it rattle skin?

  • You just convinced me to get a TS-9

  • what are the settings for both tube screamers. seems like when i cascade mine like that they never sound as good as yours.

  • setting express like hours:

    ts9: drive 9 tone 12 level 10

    ts808 : drive 10 tone 12 level 10

    bye

  • thats freakin sweet

  • wow nice phyton shoes lmao :D

  • @BluesBacon Is it a reissue or original?

  • thanks for the vid man great playing great review great boots.

  • Nice boots, nice pedals, nice video.

  • Is that london Germanium or Silicon?

  • germanium

    bye

  • that was pretty cool

    bye

  • Was that a silicon London? cool sounds

  • Is that a London Fuzz 2?

  • Woow!!Thanks!!

  • drive at 0:00, tone too.

    bye

  • GReat fuzz

  • Two questions:

    1. Which pedal do you like better, the TS9 or TS808 and why?

    2. Why is the TS808 so much more expensive?

  • he likes the 808 better. I think the 808 is more expensive because it's more of a collector's item, so they can.

  • 808 is an original so they cost

  • ts-808 is better, the sound is more softly and too much frequency sound. My ts-9 ( i modify ts-9 into ts-808 with jrc-4558 ect...) but is too hard.

  • nice boots and sound :D

  • Which Screamer would you say is better, regardless of price?

  • ts-808 is better...

    bye

  • And SRV style boots!!!

  • you should put your fuzz pedal first. non-trubypass pedals in front of a fuzz kills tone.

  • thank you for council....

    bye

  • Well, he's right...

    bye

  • its whatever sounds good. Dude you have a good sound, keep up the good work.

  • I see you wore your nice boots for this one

  • waw !the tone you get on the very first 3 seconds is awsome!

  • Killer playing, killer tone and most importantly... KILLER SHOES!

  • I guess you don't like stevies tone neither?

  • word... that comment was ridiculous

  • Nice boots! By chance are those snakeskin? lol

  • Yeah and so is your english.

  • so's your mum

  • Those are some snazzy shoes right there!

  • i agree. I hve the dallas arbiter fuzz face and that blue london faze sucks so bad

  • santiag' forever ;)

  • What settings do you have on the ts-9?

  • drive at 9, tone at 11 volume at 11 (express in watch time).

    thank u.

  • And also the ts808 settings would be awesome.

You play really great by the way and nice shoes!

  • ts808 too , the setup is the same of ts9.

    Thank u so much. bye

  • Oh my, that Fuzz Face is killing me, I must find one!

  • nice winkle pickers mate

  • which tubescreamer do u think creates more of a SRV sound? TS9 or TS808? pleeaaase reply

  • absolutely Ts-808!! but my ts-9 modify by myself have a great sound. ts-808 it's too much expensive, ts 9 it's chip.... i council to you to by ts9 and modify the pedal into ts808.

excuse me for my english !!!!!

    bye

  • How do tou modify it to the TS-808

  • pretty much go to any modding website. just shop around and see who has the best price and who is going to do the best mod but they all usually upgrade the ts9 to ts808 standards. try robertkeeley

  • suck...!!!

  • I bet you kill crocodiles with that tone man!cool!

  • good tone, especially at the beginning. The thing is that i strongly dislike fuzz pedals. Just personal preference. But the rest sounds spectacular.

  • he can play guitar but also by the looks of things hes a skilled crocodile hunter

  • lol nice boots :)

  • ouch ... I'd like to listen more, but that sound is awful

  • Your best tone was at the beginning with both ts's

  • Some people here may have bashed your sound but this is FUCKIN' amazing!!!!!

how much did that all cost you?

  • i would burn those boots.

    and trash the london faze.

I have the dallas arbiter fuzz face. WAY BETTER.

  • hahahaha i wish i had a pair of thoughs bad boys hahaha

  • Not liking that blue pedals tone at all, I'm still scraping the blood out of my ears, can you say shrill?

  • nice boots

  • wow

    ur boots are awesome

  • damn I love your pedals and your boots.

  • nice tone i have a tube screamer love it btw nice shoes haha

  • sweet tone.

  • i fall down from the chair 1st lick you play ; D

    what a kickass sound!!!

    strato used?

it seems to be a marshall combo or so...which amplifier?

  • i used strato '71 + 1 fender super reverb silver face + 1 new fender twin reverb modify into black face

  • what a clarity! that way i was thinkin' to marshalls...

    definitive youtube video

    great

    A.

  • About This Video -

this is my guitar gear. London fuzz face, ts808, ts9 modify to ts808 into 1 fender Super reverb plus 1 fender twin reverb. This is my strato 1971 (4 bolt)

  • From an ibanenez book:

During the researches for this book, (Ibanez artist relations man) Rob Nishida remembered a magazine article about SRV's effects rig. "Everyone 'knows' that SRV made the TS808 famous," said Nishida, "but right there in the picture of his rig was a TS10. So I called SRV's tech, Rene Martinez, who told me that he was only familiar with the TS10 in Vaughan's rig - he said he didn't remember Stevie Ray ever using a TS808."

  • btw. the gearguy of SRV in an interview said SRV never used a 808 but he used a TS9...

  • Guys I hope you know know that this is stevie Ray Vaughan demoing this shit right?

    Rock on SRV

  • yeah SRV wanna be. way too sloppy for Stevie

  • Agreed. We got enough SRV clones. Cool boots though.

  • Holy Fuck!!! Sounds like Stevie...Great tone, Dude!!!

  • killer boots man!

  • Por que usa botas?

  • why USA boots??? you mean why cowboy boots? cause thats SRV's style; texas blues.

  • or did you mean where did you get them?

  • great sounds, great playing

I have a question, help me understand: why have a TS808 and a TS9 modified to be a TS808? Sounds redundant. Why not have TS808 & TS9 both?

    S

  • i have modified ts9 into ts808 because ts9 was too cold, the sound of ts808 (and also ts9 modified) is great, is hot, have drive, is soft also. you feel the difference only if you can try this pedal... bye

  • very very very good sound vintage srv and hendrix, what your guitar?amp???

  • i use 2 amp , one super reverb and one twin reverb. I use a fendere stratocaster original '71 4 bolt. Pedal.... you see.

    bye

  • wow i'd kill for your gear.

  • nice gear dude. orig 71! sweet! i got a usa 70's reissue strat and an original 74 gibson sg. and yesterday i got an original 71 fender twin! RAD!

  • great!! bye bye

  • how do you do your shoe laces?

i mean, killer tone. and stuff.

phew almost let people know about my shoe/shoe lace fetish there...close call...

  • i h8 it when you ask fetish questions by mistake...

  • Thank you guy, i use also dunlop univibe, digital delay and vox wha wha. Bye Bye

  • dude what's your ts 808 settings?

  • What is the (main) difference between the TS9 and the TS808? nice playing btw..

  • the ts-808 is soft sound and full of frequency, the ts 9 is " cold "....., but you must hear for know the difference. bye

  • i prefer the TS-9 for leads, well.. i have a maxon OD-9, identical chip as the TS, i like it for the true bypass.

  • That sound so good! Great,i love it...

    And, nice shoes men!!

  • thank u so much!! bye bye

  • thank u so much, sure comments are useless.....

    Bye Bye

  • bad player

  • the tone from the first 4 seconds was nice with both screamers

  • nice shoes.....oh and good playin

  • Who the f**k told you that you can play the guitar?!

  • That london fuzz face face is killer man... killer...

  • i try a lot of fuzz face, the londoz fuzz is the best for me. bye bye

  • In my book, the TS9 is always better than the reissue.

  • the ts9 is a great pedal, ever...

  • awesome playing, I wish I could play like that!

  • can some1 tell me whats the difference between both tube screamers?

  • yes, the original ts-808 is very "soft", have too much frequency. For me with the stratocaster is the best overdrive. The ts-9 (modify into ts808) is too hard , "cold". Mabye you can't hear the difference, if you try to play with an original ts-808 you are with me. I'm sure!! Thank you guy. BY

  • NICE BOOTS!

  • the "blue box" is call london fuzz face... for me the better fuzz face. Bye

  • you suck man, you can sell ur guitar

  • AMP?

  • see my answer.... 1 Fender super reverb + 1 fender twin reverb.

    Bye

  • This blokes all cowboy boots ..

  • It's called the machine.Sickest pedal i've ever heard as it creates cross over distortion/ fuzz.Type zvex machine in search as there's a demo vid hear on utube.

  • Good tone and good snake booties. If you want your playing to sound double nasty buy a machine pedal from zvex.

  • ok, which one of zvex???

  • Are those boots your wearing the 1973 Wrander Classic Cowboy Cut or the 2004 Classic "Snake in my boots" Cowboy re-issue?

  • are the original snake skin boots.

    Bye bye

  • Oh dude, that was so f. funny.

  • the super reverb silver face treble 5- middle 5 bass 3-, twin reverb black face RI treble 6 middle 7 bass 5. Bye Bye

  • FOR Alekzan.... The twin reverb is RI model but i convert the amp into black face '64. Bye

  • how about a clip with just the super?

  • in this clip play 2 amplifier both, one super reverb plus one twin reverb.bye

  • I wouldn't say hendrix tone, but man did you NAIL the SRV tone excellent job man. And you're playing is pretty damn good!

  • i think the hindrix sound was with the blue pedal. i think he nailed it. but i like srv way better than jimi. so my srv sound is better than my hendrix anyway.?

  • I love the tone at the beginning using both tubescreamers. Is the ts808 a reissue or an antique?

  • this is an original vintage ts808. The sound il very good for me with both tube screamer. bye bye
