Thats why Canadians don't need runways, we just land in an open patch, get out of the plane, stick a shovel in the ground and dig up some gold ...lol

plane is a modified Maule. Look up the video "Big Rocks and Long Props" on the web. It is totally worth the price...you'll see those guys with both that Maule and a Super Cub in Washington State putting them into UNTHINKABLY small riverbed spots. Borer props...tundra tires...Vortex Generators...all nice, but at the end of the day, it's the pilot and his skills that make that stuff happen. I have a ways to go before Iget there, myself.
