I finaly got mines in the mail but im having trouble getting it to work. I allready have bluez ime i use snesoid and all the emulator apps with oid in the end of the name and fpse I cant get it to work on any of them and it says its connected please message me if you have solutions as their website doesnt tell you much of shit, thanks.
ANYONE THAT IS ASKING"will this work on my phone?" If its android, just download bluez ime. If its iOS, jailbreak it and most emulators will support it.
I've been searching the internet far and wide, and I'd love to know if this will fit with my HTC Evo3d. And more importantly, will the bluetooth connect to it? (HTC Evo3d's are known to have difficulty connecting to controllers like the Wiimote).
Agreed with below! Maybe a flip case? So the top and bottom are hinged together. The box would be the max required size and simple sprung adjustments in either side which clamp the phone in. Top and bottom (sides of phone) could then just have slithers of stickyback coated foam to finish. Did sizes for did phones!
Looks pretty good, my only issue (well, really a wishlist item) would be some kind of fold-over holder that allows you to close the two "halves" (iCP and device). Preferably with the device's face protected somehow. Would be much more convenient for storage, while traveling.
Alot of your fans would really appreciate your input or demonstration of if the ipod touch fits well with this or is loose. You've had several times been asked this.
but have the issues with the delay and the left directional pad been addressed? The biggest thing keeping me from laying down my money was the posts on the forums saying there was either a delay in pressing the button, or press left on the D-pad would feel somewhat stiff/unresponsive. If these things are fixed, I'm sold.
I just ordered the "set" that is basically the icontrolpad with the universal metal clamp with rubber. I figured when I get the Ipod touch 5 the rubber and the clamp will hold it tighter than the side clamps because obviously the ipod touch is thinner than a phone.
I haven't seen craigix show any videos or talk about the ipod touch and how it fits with any of their "sets". I would really appreciate some input on that.
I was wondering, how is the delay on this device. I tried an nes emulator on my Ipod touch (2g, i think) connected via bluetooth a while ago and interaction felt very laggy. Has this improved?
@nudelschaf amount of lag depends on a few things including the exact phone and emulator, i cant say exactly for 2g but I have a 3g and nes.emu plays with no noticeable lag, along with most other emu's, md.emu is slighly laggy from my experience though, i have to play around with the frame skip a bit from game to game
I currently use the iCP with the ASUS Transformer tablet, and it works very well. If you're looking for a flat Bluetooth controller to carry in your bag, the iCP is great. I think I'll go order this new universal holder just in case I change phones. Keep up the great work, guys!
Won't be buying this myself as I don't have a smartphone, and already have a Pandora. But I do think it's an excellent piece of hardware for any phone owner that wants to get some quality gaming controls on their touch screen thingy.
@craigix ofcourse it has bluetooth but apps that use root to connect to wiimotes or sixaxis controllers never work on HTC devices it seems, they've fiddled with the stack

...But will it blend?
No, I'm not doing that.
My real question is, will it work with the Dell Streak or the upcoming Galaxy Note? "Tabletphones" (5 inches plus) as it were?

Is it compatible with tablets such as the Galaxy 10.1?

Being more compact makes it very tempting...

A spring loaded pull out bar would fit any phone, no questions asked, I think you should look into it. If you wanna know what I mean, PM me.

@GizmoTheGreen Yes it will work on the Sensation, despite the crappy stack that HTC use. The app you need is Bluez IME.
