  • thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you. hope this fixes the problems i have with my computer!

  • Thank you very much ! Great video !

  • I have a qstn, do hard drives with sata have jumpers ? if not, am I still supposed to set master/slave ? If yes, how ?

  • i got 2 devices in 1 ide cable. which one i set slave and which one master? sry bad english

  • The diagram on any given drive is enough to go by, but Maxtor branded ones uses two jumpers stock, and I can't get mine to read, when I removed them for whatever reason, the data seems stuck on it, showing as corrupted when it did read. I'm trying to save it, it's a 30GB Maxtor, 2000 vintage

  • Fuck IDE, SATA is FTW!

  • @GodOfSlain0 IDE can be had cheap, not as cheap as SATA anywhere, but place it against PATA 2.5 laptop drives, those things are as pricey as gold per ounce... DOLLAR A GIG thereabouts

  • really a great help

  • thanks pal

  • I thought you would set the new as slave ..cause the master is inside the machine load with OS ect..

  • where can i find a jumper like that one?

  • thanks dude..i learned so much from u..god bless

  • thanks I'm studying for my A+ Cert and I was wondering what the jumper looked like, if anything at all

  • ok i just got a 2.5" Sata Hard Drive to USB 2.0. and i CANNOT find the jumper for the life of me!!! there isnt even a diagram to show where the jumper needs to be =[[

  • You made a mistake. You said Cable select make the middle drive master and the end drive slave. This is backwards. The drive at the end of the cable is Master, the middle is slave.

  • Hey man great video, Helped me out a lot!!

  • Where can I buy that white thing the jumper plastic thing. I lost mine

  • from a geeky asian store

  • how do youy install a 3rd hardrive?

  • If you're using SATA, it's quite easy. IDE on the other hand, you'd need a RAID controller.

  • yeah im using SATA but it's ok I set it up

  • hi i recently added a second hard disk like the one u have in ur video but 80gb and it is slow even though my first 80gb is normal
