  • it's LSI you all stupid

  • my motorcycle is restriced to 33bhp and its 0-100km/h is about 7 seconds lol

little boys in their "fast" cars make me laugh. once my licence is derestricted my bike will do 0-100mph in about 5-6 seconds oh and it only cost me £3000 you would need a supercar to keep up with that.

  • @ajpitkethly welcome to real world kid a bike can beat a car easily because its light cars are heavy but the car have more handling in tight corners without losing that much speed.Motorcycle and cars are differents each have the cons and pros ,one slight mistake on a bike and you're dead

  • not vtec ...i have a 1.5 vtec on my eg ...by the end of this vid it would be doing 180

  • My liftback 1998 Civic 1,4l is more aggressive than this ''V-tec'' i presume FAKE

  • i think that's a 1.4 16v 90hp

  • to all of you, this is a d15z8 NOT a d16z6 or whatever you seem to think it is, it has VTEC-E, go and read about it, it aims at fuel economy, not power output

  • @Xebers76 That's right

  • 1.5 v-tec is only 1.6? or only in europe.

  • słabo bo to nie jest V-TEC

  • slabo coś

  • but is

  • heard no vtec see no vtec , not a vtec

  • @MegaScarface237 why is it not a vtec?

How can you know if it's not one?

I have the same 1.5Vtec Civic...

  • @MegaScarface237 man, that´s the eco-VTEC, so you don´t see or hear it, but the car consumes less at low rpm, so you save money and still have a nice car.

  • @coldstar49 world theres your answer

  • @MegaScarface237 you see it when opening valve cover, and it can be seen in torque curve really easily, switch is done under 4000rpm.

  • @MegaScarface237 So you obviously dont know how a vtec sounds or "looks" like ..

  • @TerodownIhmSeinAcc i do actually , just didnt expect too see this when i clicked on vtec . 0 - 100 .km/h

  • @MegaScarface237 You are a noob of Honda ... This is a 1.5L VEI ( EG 435 ) , it's a 90hp VTEC !! But on this model, the vtec sound is not pronounced !!!

  • @Tekpaf03 umm i meant it by there not as much power speed and all like ive seen in other vids , dont bots it ae

  • vtec-E ?

  • Granny shift

  • This aint a Type R is it?

  • watch?v=kohNzjKB0YQ seat ibiza 021a 1.5 (about 1430ccm right now) 0-100 in 5.5-5.7s with 2 people on board-180kg

  • take 10 s to reach 100 kph good for a 1.5

in future i will buy civic ek too ;)

  • shit vtec

  • fail at 0:06 lmfao

  • i swear a rental yaris 1.3 i had was faster

  • @kubahobo the yaris has VVT-i witch is in some way the same as vtec, but this civic has vtec-e, and vtec-e is NOT vtec VVT-i gives more power than Vtec-e, but Vtec gives more power than VVT-i

  • @kubahobo probably was, this has 114bhp and weighs a whole load more!

  • I hate how people hate on american cars when its a honda video like my 3800 kills this, but i I love tunners i plan on buying a s2000 soon times

  • to nie v-tec

ona leci jak moja zwykla 1,5 na gazie. A nawet gorzej.

  • @hendeysonik Napewno gorzej tak idze moja 1.3 seria

  • that is fuel efficient!!!

  • Full benzynki ^^

  • This is SOHC vtec.

  • yeah ok american= better dont need to worry bout your turbos spooling up, or vtec kicking in, or an extra rider. its just BALLS all the time 454 big blocks kick ass

  • @soney646ilp Outrunning a 454 big block can be done with a good turbocharged 1.8L engine. And if you take the consumption in the equation, the choice is obvious. The american engines is to inefficient, being 4 times as big, but just about twice the power. It holds up pretty well though.

This 1.5L engine is to small for my taste. The 1.6 VTI engine with it's 160bhp is pretty nice. No turbo, no compressor. If a 454 big block would have the same efficiency, it would have 740bhp. Which it don't.

  • @Gnurk However getting a 454 to 740hp is easly done with about $2500 (american). Im not trying to be a hater or a fan boy but searous question: how much money would it take to get a 1.6 to that level? Big blocks might not sound effecient at first but its so easy to make insane power for dirt cheap. Displacement=Win in my book

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy Well not hard. Put some super wide front tires on it. Make it as light as posible and put some slightly engine mods in it.

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy That's true. Getting 740bhp from a 1.6 is hard and expensive. Honda still got the most efficient engines with their S2000 engine, with 120bhp per liter naturally aspirated. 2 liter engine and 240 horses is just insane. And the crazy part is, it's not even hard on the engine.

  • @Gnurk Oh yea theres no doubt the s2000 is an amazing engine. Im not an import fan but i do like the S2000. I have some crazy project idea of trying to put an F22C engine in a Chrysler Conquest/Mitsubishi Starion

  • @Gnurk Hey Gnurk, what you forget is that your car needs fucking 9000 rpm, you know what this means? It has no, really no power from low rounds per minute and its need of fuel is so high... -> Hondas Engines suck ass...

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy

    fuel is'nt cheap everywhere.....

  • @Xebers76 As far as i know fuel isnt cheap ANYWHERE

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy

If you compare the USA with sweden (where I live) there is a huge difference in the fuelprice

  • 0-100 was ok, but i'am impressed with how fast it went from 100-140 km/h

  • V-TAKK JUST KICKED IN YO! xD

  • BOOOOO BOOOOO....... LAZY. PUT TURBO ON IT!

  • weak compared to a b18 type r

  • @apu2169 hahhaa :D

  • @apu2169 stfu dude its an eco motor les feul usage not a racing type of vtec like the b18 engine

  • looks like mine d15b7 ej2 coupe was faster now its a b16a2 ej2 coupe

  • kinda slow get a turbo

  • I don't think there is any tunning in this car anyway. It's to slow. Give it some power brother.

  • rolf

  • hahah cute

  • More ecodriving ;)

  • No Vtec no Fun! ;)

  • gdzie ten Vtec? :d poszedł spać czy co ? :D

  • 100km/h? =)

  • Vtec power? Kick American shit anyday? I don't think so. This little shitbox would be lucky to go 0-60 in 8 seconds... A 2010 Taurus SHO weighs 4361 lbs and can do 0-60 in a hair over 5 seconds. Slower than this? No... The 10 thumbs to you are also ignorant retards. I wish I had a Honda instead of my big boat but seriously, that doesn't mean I'm going to bury myself under a rock about it.

  • @Beldar4214 2010 Taurus SHO has a 3.5 L EcoBoost V6 engine rated at 365 hp...Compared to a 1.5 Vtec...yes Taurus is fast.....Man..If you 're talking seriously..you sure have something wrong with your head or you don't know a thing about cars

  • full tank of petrol...u shud try it again wen its not full...surely be a gud bit quicker!

  • you should seriously consider getting a better engine. this is shit slow. get a b series or k series.. that'll do the trick :)

  • D15z8 to nie jest vtec!! tam nie ma krzywek vtecka. Do 3000obr silnik chodzi na 12 zaworów potem na 16 i w tym różnica w przyspieszeniu ;)

  • i have a vtec i love it but i have to replace the starter and fix an oil leak lol but my baby kicks in 3rd gear i love my car lol.

  • going vtec in a honda is like going warpspeed in a spaceship

  • I'm not sure why this display of...uh, speed? warranted being videoed.

0-62 MPH in about 12 seconds isn't terribly impressive. I'm sure it gets great fuel economy though.

  • i shit faster

  • lol

  • 9.04 seconds to reach 100km/h

  • Bone stock. lol.

  • Have you ever heard a vtec ? I'm pretty sure that you don't...

I had never understood why people told "Vtec is amaziiing" and so on...but since i've seen, tried one : i really changed my mind man

  • Oh...by the way, my commentary is for toothpicks, of course. ;)

Nice car, i'll got mine in a few days :D

  • Holy fuck this is slow

  • I've the same model 1.5 vtec liftback!

    Excelent car!!!

  • 150 kph==93mph...

  • 1,5 eco vtec

  • Vtec are real engine's and the last forever even if you do lotso ff high rpm. there so great. my dad used to drive a 2.2l Accord damn it really whent fast.

  • yea thats vtec power, kick american shit anyday!!!!!1

  • It took this thing like 8-9 seconds to get to 100 kmh...

  • yea its a 1.5 litre engine, give ur answers a bit of thought next time.............

  • yeah and also look at how the car looks. It's far from a sports car and it's a 1.5 engine. Personally I think it's awesome.

  • yea for what it is its really good. for example if an american company made a 1.5L (they dont have the brains to do something to save the environment in the first place) the engine would not be nearly as good as a HONDA.

  • @darthyoda93

An american made 1.5L would problably be just enough to start up one of their beloved big bulky V8:s. You got to love american engineering :)

  • @tuffhaggman

    lol yea thats prolly true.

  • @darthyoda93 noob

  • @Slowlol

yea that one 'totally mature and not geekish' word our did our comments. Totally......

  • @darthyoda93 buhaha kick american nig block hemi 6 liters shit this mower?

  • @popmean18

...............what? i speak english, i dont know wtf u r speaking

  • @darthyoda93

    That wasn't impressive at all.

A 3.8L buick engine (like old commodore engines) would kill that any day. :S

  • Comment removed

  • i have a question i dont know what all you guys talking about??? isnt the only advantage of vtec that you have less fuel consumption on low RPM?

  • @xxBlackpspxx

nah there is a VTEC-E (or something like that) which is a vtec tuned for economy. It uses vtec to engague normal cam at higher revs so uses really small at lower revs or somtehing like that.

But VTEC works by using smaller cams (so more economy) AT LOW REVS and when it gets to hgiher rpm it changes to larger cam to allow more air/fuel in to produce more power. THis is why vtec have lot more power especially when driven fast, etc.

Google how vtec works if ur intersted.

  • @darthyoda93 ye i know but if we just pick lets say a toyota supra and just put the large cams into it then its same like vtec on high rpm isnt it? u kno wat i mean?

  • @xxBlackpspxx

yea i get what u mean. i think basically casue cars without VVT have to comporomise between small and large cams.

with vtec at low rpm i think the reason they use the small ones here is because say ur someone who wants economy, ur gonna change before 4krevs. therfore u got economy cams. and that same person may need sudden power for overtaking, etc. therefore then they would rev higher than 4k revs, thefore using power cams.

  • @darthyoda93 (couldnt fit all in one comment) if they had only power cams, the car would give really bad gas millage. since top power is at higher revs, prolly wont give any more power. also i think it might screw up low end torque.

plz correct me if im wrong.

  • @darthyoda93

    haha please

  • also known as i-VTEC

  • @totengesang

isnt ivtec an improvement on vtec (not sure about technicalities)

  • @darthyoda93

yeah you can see it on the new engines but i'm not sure if it's really that VTEC we know from models like EG6, EE9, EE8, EG2, etc

  • @totengesang correct this is an eco engine designed to improve milage per liter

    not for top hp.

  • @totengesang your wrong i vtec has variable cam timing this has leanbearn and runs on 12 valves below 3000rpm to improve feul usage

  • @darthyoda93 lol this wont kick american shit. And im not bashing hondas i drive one for the winter

  • @lawnmowerTim

look at one of the comments above i made, serioulsy i dont get why u guys compare 1.5 4 cyl to 3.8L V8 or w/e. just for comparing, it shows how good hondas are.

  • @darthyoda93 your the one that said it could kick amercian shit bud lol and i said im not bashing a honda i own one and the pos is broken in the drive way the most unreliable pos ive owned so far oh ya btw its my first import.

  • @lawnmowerTim

comparitively jap cars are a hell of a lot better, reliable, etc than american cars. u can also push the small 4 cylindrs a lot harder, of course they are mass produced cars u cant expect 100% of them to be trouble free for ever, but they r still more reliable than american cars.

  • @darthyoda93 american 4 cycl yes v8s tho no american cars in my opinion have the most reliable motors even the v6s. I bought my first import for a winter car have had nothing but problems spending more money on that thing then its worth. my american car never has given me any trouble and ive had it a hell of alot longer then the honda but hey just my opinion

  • @lawnmowerTim

as i said ur was just bad luck. hondas are one of the (if not the) most reliable cars on production. iv only owned jap cars (a few hondas, toyotas, nissans, etc) and they run very well. the prob with imports is when they do have problems (like all cars) they can be expensive becuase of parts. however, jap cars are still more realiable than american cars. they are also better engineered. urs must have been bad luck.

  • @darthyoda93 you honestly think thats power?......sad

0-100 in like 8 seconds, look out guys this vtec is BADASS!

  • @kyle340ify

haha such a comedian. id like to see an american company come out with a 1.5L 4 cylinder (that would be something!) that would have as much power and still be as efficient and be built as well as jap cars.

  • @darthyoda93 americans are retarded, but there still not stupid enough to MAKE a 1.5L 4 cylinder NA in the first place. dont get me wrong, jap cars are the best but theres a reason imports with small engines have turbos....now stfu honda fanboy, hondas are gayer than aids go get some nissan in ya

  • @kyle340ify

thats such a stupid thing to say. that is actually very smart making small engines: less material , cheaper to produce im assuming and better for the environment (which americans can screw all they like and not give a shit about). by putting a turbo (nothing wrong with it) it is making use of technology and the outcome is perfect for whatever use the car has (family car, small car, etc). hondas are great cars, as are nissan but u dont sound like u know nything about what ur saying.

  • @darthyoda93 fair enough about hondas being a family or small car

but clearly they ARE slow and have NO performance so why put up a vid of the 0-100 time on youtube and then have people comment "yeah thats vtec power!"

wouldnt it be more fitting to comment "yeah that cars fuel efficient!"

  • @kyle340ify no thats not true. for the size of engine, etc they are quite powerful depending on engine, etc. some ppl have turnboed them and put them under incredible pressure and they still hold up producing a hell of a lot of power (most other cars wouldnt be able to take it for very long). so compared to a V8 which is practically 2 or more of these engines put together this car is not as fast but that doesnt mean it is slow and doesnt mean it doesnt have any performance.

  • @darthyoda93 you cant say its fast for the engine....only a honda owner would say that

its either fast or slow, this is slow

  • @kyle340ify

ok this particular one is vtec-e so its main objective is economy, however, u get honda engines say for example a 1.6L (for eg. a B16), for its size it is very powerful (and can be pushed a hell of a lot and hold up) while maintaining economy.

my main point is hondas are really good cars and their engines are superb and when comparing jap cars to american, they come up waaaaaaaaaaaaay on top.

  • @darthyoda93 ROFL? Your sir are retarded.

  • @darthyoda93 Ummmm.....what exactly will it be kicking when it takes 8.5 seconds to get to 100 kph?

  • is it a 1.5 wit a vtec head

  • Is this a stock 1.5 vTec?

  • when you gived from 1st to 2nd i thinked you gived to 3rd

  • THERE IS NOOOO VTEC HERE!

seem to me that u never drove a car with vtec in.

    sorry!

  • It seems to be the Vtec-E, that's probably a Honda civic EK3 ;)

Not the real one, of course...but the name still appears, i'll start with that and later got a real fucking one ! :p

  • So it is an 1.5 Vtec, and no vti. i have the same

  • 9 secs..pure shit

  • you should warm up the car before flooring it ;)

  • Yes, it's vtec. Engine D15Z8, vtec-e (econo).

  • @M4TiJDM Gotta hate the E ...just kidding :P

  • not v- tec

  • mazda 323f with 1.5 dohc 88hp going same like 1.5 vtec;] hmm maybe better ;p

  • 9.8 sec to 100 km/h not so bad?!

  • ja tu V-teca nie widze

  • im putting one im mu mini one day =D

  • I've the same model, same motor, but liftback. :)

  • very nice..don't forget guys: it is a station wagon and weights a lot

  • WHat a race car

  • Lol I am just kidding bro relax lol you have any parkour vids or pics?

  • Still seems kinda homosexual lol You don't tell a other guy there is a connection lol guys dont connect lol

  • You are one funny person, but im not gay sorry lol.

  • Nice going mate. Extra quick cars for there size. For VEI owners, if u can get yours hands on a ESI head, put the top half of the head on ur VEI, knocks your BHP from 114 to 228 without modification!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude u cant shift for shit....

  • Men can but that most better,i have one aerodeck 1.5 vtec profile....if you need tips I help you;)

  • I love hondas :-D <3 Fuck everything els lol

  • I have the same car, i think that is . .

does your engin block say v-tec?? cause my don`t . .

please help me figure out my engine type..

know its 114hp and 1,5 ils, just don´t know if there are one or two types..

  • The engine type is D15Z8 (1,5 VTEC, 114 hp)

  • weird, semes that your accelerates faster than mine . .

its the aerodec version anno 1998 ?

and its the 98 octan fuel, nothing special in styling?

  • good acceleration for 114 hp ;)

  • not bad really for a station
