The soundtrack recording does not even compare to the awesomeness of seeing it in real life and I love the stage versions of the songs and how they literally come to life. I saw them at The Grove yesterday. Well, only Tshidi Manye (Rafiki), Dashaun Young (Simba), and Chauntee Schuler (Nala). They weren't in costume. They sang Circle of Life, Shadowland, Endless Night, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight? I wanted my nieces to see them

I've seen the Broadway show back in 2002 and bought the soundtrack so for years, I got used to the original cast. But they all sang very beautifully. I wish I could afford to see the actual show in Las Vegas so I could show my nieces.
