I believe it will change. I have been argueing the term is too arbitrary. It also unfairly reduce issues to black and white, when in fact, many have many different shades. A thrid problem is how does one predict how the Whigs would view a future event??? "Cherry pick" would suggest that the Whigs may bounce from one to another with no consistency, and thats not what most whigs are saying.
I do nit like the term, "cherry pick." I prefer a pragmatic approach to politics, adhereing to fiscal responsibility and social progression. Its the best of both world, pragmatism combines with a principled approach to politics. "Cherry pick" sounds too erratic.
