I look at Mr timms photos in the last months of his life here..His EYES were very big and sad..It looked like something was really bothering Him..He knew he messed up and IM sure he had a very HEAVY Heart with GUILT to top it off..Having his money and people connections 2 bad he didnt get the HELP he needed.Most folks do Drugs becuz they are in PAIN.Very Sad situation

I am a evangelist that preaches old-fashioned pentacostal holiness. I preach prosperity according to Matthew 25:31 thru 46. Real prosperity is to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless, visit the sick and have a prison ministry. Not to try to impress people with the abundance of things neither to seek things and not the face of God (Jesus). (Matthew 6:25 thru 34) The goverment is not to be depended on but rather the church of the living God.
To those of you that have said that the first church in the book of Acts was a "mega church" are totally incorrect. Read Acts chapter 4 verses 32 thru 37 carefully. Yes souls were added to the church but those souls were saved (Romans 10: 8 thru 10) baptised in Jesus' name (Acts 2:38) and filled with the Holy Spirit and were givers to those who had need. I doubt if the "mega churches" of today are helping those who have need. Is so we would not have the poverty in America that we have.

I mentioned that to establish time line only. "After" the period of contestability some companies must pay,if he was upfront about prior drug use,etc. He admitted his publicly. Its "possible" they will receive a reduced benefit if not all but it depends on disclosures he made 2them n the policy language :-)

This is the problem with today's "Christian" church, people are caught up in personalities rather than Jesus Christ. Holiness is not preached as the way to TRUE prosperity (Matthew 6:33) The Blood of Jesus and The Cross (St.John 3:16) are rarely mentioned. The reason Jesus has not returned to the earth is the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ has not ben preached to all the earth for a witness that He is the true and only living God.

Insurance companies do pay if its past the two year waiting period. Drug overdose is not suicide unless intentional. How would it be proven absent a note. Police said no CRIME was committed or criminal investigation. Toxicology is being done to see how much drugs alcohol or TOXINS were in his system. They were divorced more than two years ago. Even if accidental OD she is pretry much on her way to the bank...AGAIN
@2telldatruth, this has nothing to do with divorce. there is a clause in most life insurance policies for engaging in "illegal acts" and that is separate from suicide. if an overdose of an illegal drug killed him, the insurance company will not pay out. that's where the toxicology report comes in. I hope it does not come back positive for the kids sake.

If Tims dies as a result of his weakness all you folks that are permissive of sin and take misquote scripture to make it seem as if God does not care if we sin are partly to blame. Tim is the victim of a church that would choose to rather look the other way, tolerate sin, and make excuses for others than to do what God has called us to do and that is admonish one another in wrong doing. It is an act of LOVE to hold people accountable because you help them avoid the CONSEQUENCES.
I respectfully disagree. A thorough read of scripture suggests that we play more of a role in one anothers spiritual well being than you are making it seem. Admonishing one another is our duty, not an attempt to be God. Its really being the vessels that God will use to help one another grow in righteousness and purity.
Let's examine this scripture that is so often misquoted: "do not judge".
1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
So now that we are seeing the whole thing instead of just ripping verse 1 out of context what does it really say? There are three imperatives to be adhered to:
1. Do not judge someone else's sin if you have the same sin in your life.
2. Get the sin out of your own life.
3. Then judge your brother the right way to remove the speck from his life.
The end result is that the sin is removed from my life and the life of my brother. That's the point--- the sin is removed.
Whatever problems you had with the Bishop is now buried... It's between him & His Maker NOW!!

Just keep working on yourself & pray for others, until they ask your advice. Model your right standing before them & they tooooooo will want to walk right also. Buy them a Bible and let the Word of God do the changing. What we say could cause offence if not God inspired.
I hear you, but if the Bible permits me to hold my brother accountable, to remove the speck from his eye, to admonish as it says in colossians, then its already God inspired. There is a reason why Jesus said remove the speck from your brothers eye, because I am able to help them see what they can't see for themselves. Its our duty..it's not about waiting for them to ask for advice, because admonishment (just like encouragement) is not an option.

Constanine changed every ordinance of the early Book of Acts church. I am a evangelist that preaches old-fashioned pentacostal holiness. I preach prosperity according to Matthew 25:31 thru 46. Real prosperity is to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless, visit the sick and have a prison ministry. Not to try to impress people with the abundance of things neither to seek things and not the face of God (Jesus). (Matthew 6:25 thru 34) The goverment is not to be depended on but rather the church of the living God.

To those of you that have said that the first church in the book of Acts was a "mega church" are totally incorrect. Read Acts chapter 4 verses 32 thru 37 carefully. Yes souls were added to the church but those souls were saved (Romans 10: 8 thru 10) baptised in Jesus' name (Acts 2:38) and filled with the Holy Spirit and were givers to those who had need. I doubt if the "mega churches" of today are helping those who have need. Is so we would not have the poverty in America that we have.

@bighil2 I hope not either. Let me clarify why I mentioned divorce 2. In most decrees insurance ensure policies r in place w/other party as executor or beneficiary if children are involved. I mentioned that to establish time line only. "After" the period of contestability some companies must pay,if he was upfront about prior drug use,etc. He admitted his publicly. Its "possible" they will receive a reduced benefit if not all but it depends on disclosures he made 2them n the policy language :-)

This is the problem with today's "Christian" church, people are caught up in personalities rather than Jesus Christ. Holiness is not preached as the way to TRUE prosperity (Matthew 6:33) The Blood of Jesus and The Cross (St.John 3:16) are rarely mentioned. The reason Jesus has not returned to the earth is the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ has not ben preached to all the earth for a witness that He is the true and only living God.

Did someone in here say that they had the first mega church in Acts?? The church was being added to daily as in people were getting saved not joining one particular local church. Insurance companies do pay if its past the two year waiting period. Drug overdose is not suicide unless intentional. How would it be proven absent a note. Police said no CRIME was committed or criminal investigation. Toxicology is being done to see how much drugs alcohol or TOXINS were in his system. They were divorced more than two years ago. @2telldatruth, this has nothing to do with divorce. there is a clause in most life insurance policies for engaging in "illegal acts" and that is separate from suicide. if an overdose of an illegal drug killed him, the insurance company will not pay out. that's where the toxicology report comes in. I hope it does not come back positive for the kids sake.

According to the divorce papers she lives in a 2.2 million dollar Mansion, and was receiving 4000 a month in child supoort and 250.000 in alimony. not to mention Pastor Tims had nearly 500,000 in the bank as well as a large life insurance policy all willed to her and the kids. so i hope she is not trying to profit from his death, how much does it cost to raise 4 kids

If Tims dies as a result of his weakness all you folks that are permissive of sin and take misquote scripture to make it seem as if God does not care if we sin are partly to blame. Tim is the victim of a church that would choose to rather look the other way, tolerate sin, and make excuses for others than to do what God has called us to do and that is admonish one another in wrong doing. 1. Do not judge someone else's sin if you have the same sin in your life.
2. Get the sin out of your own life.
3. Then judge your brother the right way to remove the speck from his life.
The end result is that the sin is removed from my life and the life of my brother. That's the point--- the sin is removed.

Because I enjoyed Tims ministry and could not make it to Florida for the funeral, I was hoping the family would offer the public (only those interested) the opportunity to purchase the video. Also, giving a donation for the tape is the final way many choose to pay their respect to the Tims Family. I think we understand in this economy it takes money to raise children and one of which is disabled. If you don't want to buy the video, then don't. But don't stop others from donating.

Because I enjoyed Tims ministry and could not make it to Florida for the funeral, I was hoping the family would offer the public (only those interested) the opportunity to purchase the video. Also, giving a donation for the tape is the final way many choose to pay their respect to the Tims and Family. I think we understand in this economy it takes money to raise children and one of which is disabled. If you don't want to buy the video, then don't. But stop others to donating to this family.

I wanted to see the funeral also BUT the reality is, this family is in a difficult position. If that toxicology report comes back positive for illegal drugs, the multimillion dollar policies that he took out will not be paid by the insurance companies. Which puts the family in a deeper hole and to support those kids i would buy the tape. Not sure that Riva is so wrong after all.

I noticed his EX-WIFE seemed to be handling things now and not understanding why? It could have been possible that he was dating again, and if so SHE should have been included and not ignored and his EX-WIFE get all the attention as though she's a widow. Believe me this handsome man was not still single and I'm sure there was a line of women just waiting to be the next "First Lady". *Just my thoughts*

I am sure Pastor Tims would have not mind a public funeral since his life was public ministry. Offerings were received from the public and prayers. His x-wife received her wishes. We will continue to pray for the family. Blessing and peace to all

beautiful flowers but I wish the Reverend was here....but God clearly needed him more..... Although I believe he was murdered by the devils imps nothing we can do to bring him back now.....death unfortunately has few reversables....he did not deserve to suffer the way he did in silence...maybe one day church folks can truly hear God and turn from the wickness so that good folks like Reverend Tim, Michael Jackson, and others can live fully trick free. God wants us to live and prosper~
