Well, I wear make up with Hijab, and I am a Catholic. I cover just like Muslim women. My religion and the Muslim one formed around the sametime and have a lot of the same rules,and the early Christian church also wore Hijab as well as the Islam one(most Christian women don't follow these rules anymore, but they are still there in the Bible) never the less. 1Cor.11. I know the 3 verses that refer to what you guys claim is the 'hijab' or 'jilbab'. None of these verses has the word Hijab as a cloth, none. The verse talking about Jibab does NOT mention at all it has to 'cover everything except hands and face'. There is NOT one single verse in the Quran that mentions this clearly. The translation you show below is wrong!! verse doesNT say 'draw cloaks over all their bodies'!! it mentions the Arabic word Jalabeeb. Second this verse came down at a time when the women were harrassed at night when they went out to their toilet thing. They dIdnt have tolites inside the house at that time. When out they were harrassed because hypocrites thought they were not Muslms. By dressing in a specific way they became known as Muslims.
