  • I'm diggin it! Looks like some great comfort food. You're giving Oliver a run for his money.

  • @yartp yes, comfort food, perfect for the cold weather

  • oh thanks....now I'm starvin....looks yummy!!

  • shredded suet? is that sorta like lard?

  • @bmeyer44 Only in so far as its an animal fat. Lard, I believe, is rendered pork fat. Suet is shredded kidney fat. It's more solid and less greasy.

  • @BrewTubeUK I've never seen shredded suet here in the states...plain suet for the birds, but never shredded stuff for cooking....ya learn something new every day! Thanks

  • @bmeyer44 You could always grate frozen butter or use another solid type of shortening as a substitute for suet.

  • I have to say, I'm very happy to have found your channel. Great recipes for food and (especially) beer.

  • @tarogue1 Thanks. I've just had a look at your channel: It's a serious set up you've got there; lots of shiny steel.

  • Dumplings, beef, and beer - the stuff of champions!

  • @Cannibalriot Just the ticket for this time of year
