Have you tried running the gun on red gas? If so have you had any leaks, and could this be fixed with some teflon tape in the threads of the green gas adapter?
Why are you using 134a? At least, that's what it says on the bottle. It's not going to cycle many times before the gas runs out, it's weaker than HFC 22 green gas or Propane.
@xXxstewiedudexXx dude, c02 is a pain in the ass. yeah, its cheaper, but when you want to put some more 02 in you have to spend like 20 seconds to unscrew the damn thing, 3 seconds to fumble around and pull out a cartridge, and another 20 seconds to screw it back in. with green gas, you can save money with a propane adapter and when you need to refill with your propellant, all you need to do is pull out your bottle, stick the nozzle into the mag for 5 secs, and youre ready 2 fire again.........
Is the conversion is possible because the 2 assembly of brass you remove act as a pressure regulator? I saw a kind of 2 spring washer on the second assembly that remind me a extreme pressure spring used in pressure regulator. Otherwise i'm wondering how 6-7x less pressure can achieve the same result.
green gas is propane... buy propane.. then adaptor wich u can fill with silicone oil every 2 clips for example... dats it you have your own green gas.
It varies. I modified my KWC magazine with the KW058 piece and i get even less than using the c02 magazine. I attribute this to the fact the cans of green gas I have, the "nozzle" head on the can is too thick, and wont fit well over the nozzle on the magazine, so every time I fill the magazine with gas, ALOT leaks out and never even makes it into the magazine. So I figure its not filling full enough, which is not giving me enough pressure in the mag to shoot alot of bb's.
c02 u get like 1 50 round mag 2 if your lucky off of one, green gas a full clip of it u get about 75-100 round (1.5-2 clips) and u can fill it up like 50 times with a 25$ can
@WiffleBatWarrior the c02 is better when the temperature is low but between the c02 and green gas is better the green gas 'cause will make your gun to last longer than if you use c02.
In general, no. For a gun to hold c02 that is designed for green gas, it must be made mostly of metal. ABS/Plastic parts can shatter with the power of C02. Japanese airsoft guns definately cant handle it, some Taiwanese guns can. Basically the "bolt & surrounding areas" must be metal before you try to put c02 in it.
maybe 1 magazine worth. Green gas is not as powerful, so you dont get as much out of it. This gun works much better with the c02. I reccomend this mod so you can play CQB matches with the KWC Mini Uzi. With Co2 its too powerful.
i just installed the green gas conversion on my mini uzi's clip. When I try to fill the clip up with green gas the gas just shoots out of where the threading is for the gas adapter. do you have any advise?
Probably not. C02 is more powerful, and could damage a Green Gas gun. It would be the same as putting "red gas" or "top gas" into a Green Gas gun. It can put too much stress on the rubber seals in the magazine, and can break parts inside the gun that move too fast, and bang into other parts harder than they should.
No, its about the same. I really cant say how much better or worse it is because i got these airsoft guns in November 2007, and its been cold since then, and these guns suck in cold weather. This summer i'll be able to guage it better, and post results here! :D
I just tried the Mini Uzi out with Red Gas using the KW058 green gas converter, and it works VERY well! :D Has the same blowback and FPS as using a c02 powerlet cartridge :) I really want to chrono this gun now, because it almost seems MORE powerful than C02.
The only prob here is you lose up to 200 fps in power, but it saves alot on money. PPl say this gun only shoots 300 fps but with co2,new piston head and greased seals it shoots 480-500 fps or 420-480 out of the box...
I've not installed a new valve yet in this gun. I've been looking at them, but I'm happy with the performance of the Uzi for now. If I get a new valve, i'll post info on it :)
The Pressure Inside a c02 Cartridge is 30kg, but Green Gas is Normally around 8kg. and the Best Pressure for the Mini Uzi is from 20kg To 30kg because this Uzi has super strong Recoil Power and Velocity.. This Can lead to the Gas Leaking Inside the Magazine because it's made for Higher Pressure. c02 works Best for the Mini Uzi...
Yes, KWC says that red gas is actually better than green gas with the Mini Uzi. Its a very well built gun, and has a heavy bolt, so the more powerful the gas the better :)
Other than for CQB, I dont know if its worth the upgrade. Unless c02 is more expensive or harder to come by in your area. Its definately half as powerful as using c02.
The blowback looks and feels almost the same, you can see this at the very end of the video. C02 is definately more powerful, which creates a more forceful blowback. I'm actually firing the Mini Uzi with green gas at the end of the video. :)
You get about the same amount of BB's out of the gun as you would with C02. Mine gets about 2-3 clips of bb's on 1 clip on semi auto, and about 1.5-2 clips on full auto, but again, my KWC Mini Uzi nozzle has been modified with the plastic disc, so I cant quote what a 'stock' gun would shoot.
Its about the same speed, but definately less powerful. i'd say as much as half as powerful. I dont have a Chronograph, so i cant tell you exactly, but i'd guess with green gas, the Mini Uzi is around 250+ FPS..
I dont have a chrono, so i'm not sure yet. Its around 250-320 range i'd guess. I shot my foot covered with a cotton sock from about a foot away, and it hurt, but not serious enough for me never to try it again. so the FPS is definately low enough to use in a match. :)

WA magazines are green gas and on the market. Easy to find.

So, would this lower the velocity enough to make it usable for a CQB game?
Also, IT'S A MAGAZINE GAH.
That bugs me so much, sorry.

Yes, you are right. The reason I like the drop in 200 fps is so this gun is able to be used in most competitions that have a 400 fps limit :D
I have my C02 clips for heavy duty battles, and I have my converted green gas clips for games with fps limits :)

Oh, and how many BB's you can fire with full loaded mag using Green Gas? And what's the lowest temperature you fired Uzi with Green Gas.
Equil8 4 years ago
You get about the same amount of BB's out of the gun as you would with C02. Mine gets about 2-3 clips of bb's on 1 clip on semi auto, and about 1.5-2 clips on full auto, but again, my KWC Mini Uzi nozzle has been modified with the plastic disc, so I cant quote what a 'stock' gun would shoot.

Its about the same speed, but definately less powerful. i'd say as much as half as powerful. I dont have a Chronograph, so i cant tell you exactly, but i'd guess with green gas, the Mini Uzi is around 250+ FPS..
