Yes, I believe what he means by "everyone" is millions of willing people from all walks of life, people of different nationalities and races and religions. It's not about standing for some narrow "Labour Party" or something, but something bigger; mankind! Mankind is not about some teeny weeny little narrow minded political parties. Its about mankind.
