OK you guys seem to be the most serious about this creature. so i have a question for ya. since Bigfoot has to weigh at least around the 600 to 800 pound region. then if they are at that weight then wouldn't they have to eat a lot like a cow ???? cows spend most their time eating then chewing their food then sleeping then back to eating again. much like a hog. i would assume that it is like a meat eater also. where do they get all this food?????
@39tommyboy you have a good point about the eating habits of bigfoot, but something I would like to add is,bigfoot/sasquatch is supposed to be half man half ape,Apes, chimps and other members of the monkey family,do NOT eat meat, but I have seen TV specials about people catching bigfoot breaking into chicken coops, and that their diet consists mostly of fish and berries, leaves, snakes, and fruit,so I dont know what would explain him weighing 600-800 pounds.....................................
You're a bozo but thank you American Bigfoot...for you are my heroes and I can sleep at night. NOT. You guys don't squat...or should I say squatch. LOL Asking you about the big boys of the woods is like asking a kindergardner how to get laid. It doesn't exist because they just don't know about it yet. Good luck with your "investigations."
their are some animals that are still not discovered...but bigfoot :\ il belive it when i see it.and i live close to the ontario woods. were he said to be spotted alot......the most iv seen in their are some racoons and bears....no bigfoot...yet lol
We are suposed to have a Yowie here in australia too and if they exist NOT! and people have found footprints then why hasn't anyone found poop!? Don't these creatures poop? hmmm! i guess not!
@BeanMeister22 i saw a seminole indian saying that he believed they are mythical creatures here in oklahoma. but i know his family and i live here where he does and i have never heard anybody saying anything about them being mythical. and he was on t.v. saying that all seminole indians believe that way. well i believe not is what im saying.
Theres nothing wrong with people investigating the subject of bigfoot, so i dont know why you want to shut those people up so badly. If you're going to make claims like this, you need to tell believers what it is that is leaving real footprints, throwing rocks at them, howling at night, and appearing to someone nearly every day. Although i agree its not always bigfoot, i highly doubt the woods are teeming with 12 year olds that want to screw with hikers.
A face to face with Bigfoot is a different story, so we will set that aside for now. As for the other things we both mentioned, if I was in the woods and those things happened, thinking it was Bigfoot would be the last thing on my mind. Sticks and branches fall out of trees, deer running on a game trail causes strange noises and vibrations, and raccoons will drop things out of trees on you. The wind through the trees also causes various vibrations.
Myself and several longtime friends, have been looking into local Bigfoot sightings off and on for more than 20 years. To the mind of someone who starts with a neutral opinion, and goes where the trail leads, there have been no authenticated Bigfoot sightings. There have been some very strange unexplained things that we have seen, but Bigfoot would be pretty far down on the list of explanations for those.
We have followed Bigfoot tales for so long, that we enjoy making our own humorous and clearly fake Bigfoot videos. Since everything else that exists looks pretty fake, but people still believe them, we set out to see how bad a Bigfoot video can be, and still be believed by some people. There are people who are blinded by their desire for Bigfoot to be real, as for us, we consider proof of Bigfoot to be like winning the lottery; it is something to shoot for, but very unlikely to happen.
I know, but I was just preaching to the choir. Now I'm going for the true believers...it's sort of a put up, or shut up kind of thing. A prove it, or lose it angle. As for strange things in the woods, I have several true stories that involve that sort of thing, and Bigfoot is not involved in any of them.

@delideliver In the wild, chimps do eat meat. They catch and eat small animals including monkeys.

The proof of Bigfoot is simply not there, yet?
