The only thing that the movie stayed true to the game was the tittle and that Max Payne's wife and baby were killed thats it. If this movie had a different tittle it would be an ok movie at best. It's like nobony that worked on the movie played the game.
Why give a fanatic the reply he wants? I have now seen it and the pacing was tottaly off, characters were cut from the script just to piss off the fans even more, and A lot of pointless scenes that contributed nothing to the plot at all(Fuck was with the Haitian gang). I could go on explaining flaws that have been examined. it was a complete waist of an hour and forty minutes of my life. I'd rather wait for the so called gamer dedicated cut on DVD. Its the best so far but thats not saying much.

Umm, actually I did play the game but could never get past the theatre and freely admit that I don't know shit about video games, but I do happen to know movies and MAX PAYNE, as a movie, tastes like I assume ass tastes like. McNugget06, I sure, can answer any questions you might have about the actual taste of ass.
Oh and one more thing. The parts with slow motion wasnt a copy from the matrix. He actually does that in the game but you wouldnt know because you havnt played it.
Max Payne was not a first person shooter game,LMAO.You haven't even played the game because if you did you would know that it was a third person shooter and not a first person.The movie probably suck and so is your review.
