earthships are perfect for areas with unstable ground because they require absolutly no foundation, plus the tire walls can withstand earthquakes.

the one problem i see with earthships in my area is i that we have lots of hard clay and in the summer the ground raises in the summer and in the winter lowers. Making lots of foundation problems.

I see these structures becoming more and more relevant with this oncoming economic depression emerging.

I just recently completed a bottle wall as part of a new facade in a retrofit project in Pittsburgh. I'll have to post it at some point. Thanks for the inspiration and keep doing what your doing. Cheers!!
