well a little tip, malawi need alot of rocks to hide and defend themselves, you clearly have an overpowering male in there, with no rock for smaller fish....

i have a 55 galon and 4 electric yellow labs in them atm, what other cichlids can i add to the tank? i would like to get the blue dolphin malawi maybe 2 or 3 is that okay?
@oscarfight well if u know anything about africans witch im geussing u dont becasue your asking how big will africans get in a 20 gall africans need atleast 38 gallons of water for 2 breed ing harems so 3 females 1 male not like south americans and they keep eggs in there mouth so dont be freaked out if they have eggs in there mouth of baby fish
Not necessarily. You shouldn't keep New World Cichlids with Old World Cichlids, and you shouldn't keep Peacock Cichlids with Mbuna Cichlids. There are more specifics, but I won't go into them.
Some people would not agree w/ this but I have a school (5) of clown loach in my african tank, and they have done really well for more than 12 years. To each their own.
can you recommend some mildy aggressive cichlids for a 55g? this is what i have:
4 Yellow labs
3 electric blue johannis
1 red tailed shark
2 bumble bee cichlids
2 eureka red cichlid
1 demonasi cichlid
2 azureus cichlid
i would like to keep about 20-25 and i only have 15 so please tell me if my combonation is good and name some other, hardy and semi aggressive cichlids. please mention some mbuna/malawi cichlids.
why the fuck would you post this type of a question on youtube? I suppose you've never heard of google, oh and btw your stocking idea is fucking retarded.
byeah, the zebras don't mingle too much, i have a blue male zebra too. my labs that breed are a pair, i'm positive it's the same female, and i always see her following a certian male so i assume he fathers all of the broods.

Don't listen to anyone, your tank looks great as do the fish. I probably wouldn't add any plants or any more rock.

holiday1702 3 years ago
All my fishes are African Malawi Cihlids. The blue big one, with the big forhead is a Malawi "delfin" cihlid.
Balleklorin0 3 years ago
@Balleklorin0 thats a malawi DOLPHIN cichlid and he was asking about the thick lipped cichlid in the beggining.
Tigerbarb202 6 months ago
@holiday1702 The shiny blue one is: Fossorochromis Rostratus. The other blue ones with humps are named: Cyrtocara Moorii - aka - Blue Delfin/Dolphin.
