  • isn't the emporor cichlid from tangenyaki?

  • Comment removed

  • @phunkn yeah that sounds k as long as you don't get more than 2 or 3, you just need to make more territories...

  • nice set up

  • i have a 55 galon and 4 electric yellow labs in them atm, what other cichlids can i add to the tank? i would like to get the blue dolphin malawi maybe 2 or 3 is that okay?

  • Thats pretty much a 90 Gallon, isnt it ?

  • how manys gallon is this tank? how long will african cichlids growing bigger in the 20 gallon tank?

  • @oscarfight well if u know anything about africans witch im geussing u dont becasue your asking how big will africans get in a 20 gall africans need atleast 38 gallons of water for 2 breed ing harems so 3 females 1 male not like south americans and they keep eggs in there mouth so dont be freaked out if they have eggs in there mouth of baby fish

  • fint akvarium ;)

  • Where are the caves and rocks? Poor things.

  • so u can keep all cichlids in 1 tank and they dont eat each other?

  • Not necessarily. You shouldn't keep New World Cichlids with Old World Cichlids, and you shouldn't keep Peacock Cichlids with Mbuna Cichlids. There are more specifics, but I won't go into them.

  • I'm gonna do a malawi tank, should i do a sand and gravel bottom?

  • @dasadler123 sand!

  • Tolles Becken....als abschreckendes Besispiel!!!

  • what is the bigger one called

  • fossochromis rostratus :)

  • absolutely stunning!

  • fish are really nice but cichlids should ahev ALOT of rock work in there to immitate where they come from , but other than that nice fish

  • Some people would not agree w/ this but I have a school (5) of clown loach in my african tank, and they have done really well for more than 12 years. To each their own.

  • Yeah i too keep clowns in my ac tank. they get on well.

  • nice fish but tank looks a bit plain and boring but before someone says something about my comment its only my opinion

  • yes wayy too plain in my opinion too

  • can you recommend some mildy aggressive cichlids for a 55g? this is what i have:

    4 Yellow labs

    3 electric blue johannis

    1 red tailed shark

    2 bumble bee cichlids

    2 eureka red cichlid

    1 demonasi cichlid

    2 azureus cichlid

i would like to keep about 20-25 and i only have 15 so please tell me if my combonation is good and name some other, hardy and semi aggressive cichlids. please mention some mbuna/malawi cichlids.

    awesome tank!

  • why the fuck would you post this type of a question on youtube? I suppose you've never heard of google, oh and btw your stocking idea is fucking retarded.

  • back off!!! big gay word cusser ok he just asked a qestion so dont get your panies in a bunch ok puss cake with pink frosting!!!

  • you have enough fish right now.

  • i have a 55g and i have 2 frontosas and they are great fish and great colors and they will get real big in your 55 , my advice maybe give it a try

  • nice,Check mine out.

  • every malawi tank ive seen has yellow labs lol, even i have 4 :D

  • hahaha nice. i have like 10 labs and a pair of red zebras. the yellow labs are pretty popular. i actually breed them for my local pet store.

  • you breed labs with red zebras in the same tank? :\

  • byeah, the zebras don't mingle too much, i have a blue male zebra too. my labs that breed are a pair, i'm positive it's the same female, and i always see her following a certian male so i assume he fathers all of the broods.

  • Don't listen to anyone, your tank looks great as do the fish. I probably wouldn't add any plants or any more rock.

  • nice tank but you could put some kind of rock

  • what temperature is your tank mate?

  • nice fish. how did u get your fish so big?

  • yea nice fish. you just need some more decor. in there plants and rocks and such

check my tanks if youd like

  • sweet tank check out ym videos

  • Impressive tank but personaly i think it would look better with some more rock and a little more colour

  • is the big blue guy a jack dempsey or an electric blue peacock?

  • All my fishes are African Malawi Cihlids. The blue big one, with the big forhead is a Malawi "delfin" cihlid.

  • @Balleklorin0 thats a malawi DOLPHIN cichlid and he was asking about the thick lipped cichlid in the beggining.

  • @holiday1702 The shiny blue one is: Fossorochromis Rostratus. The other blue ones with humps are named: Cyrtocara Moorii - aka - Blue Delfin/Dolphin.

  • i am so amaze, check my fish out.

  • very nice bro

  • The Fossochromis family has been moved to a 900L tank. I do this all the time. Malawi grows fast

  • @Balleklorin0 put a vidio of the 900L plz

  • i can see he has an affinity for that plump female =)

  • wow great lookin fish u got there! what kind on fish is he?and how many gallons is our tank

  • Thanks.

The two biggest is a male/female Fossochromis Rostratus.

My tank is a Atman 340 Liter. With T5.
