This is very rare! Thanks God some of her video material survived for us to see her controlled intensity and great presence. She sang songs wonderfully, especially the Russian songbook. Her deep, at the same time melancholy and burning soul fits these heartfelt Russian songs like a glove. Her unusual timbre is also remarkable, how can it be so metallic/dramatic but also conveying such smoothness and romanticism?

I heard them in austria in the 70s, her voice and the piano sounded even more mellow/operatic. Had these plus Flea, Grandfathers Clock, something on theme from the 2nd mvmnt of vanBeethoven's #5, Mikado, and Tchaikovsky's After the Ball. You will never forget her singng. It will inspire you all life. A dream combi for any songwriters. Thank you.

maybe this copies were sent somewhere, or hidden... besides there's a lot of things by russian musicians that survived unknown

According to her memoirs, all her work had been destroyed after she lost her citizenship. How did this survive?
