I have to say Lee, it was a great video and brilliant to watch. I'm actually doing my work experience at Cranwell this summer and your great video really does make me wish for it to come quicker. I gather you're an air cadet too...What wing/sqn are you fom?
I don't suppose many people realise this, but Air Cadets is a great organisation which offers free flying oportunities that every pilot wanna be would take. It's free log book hours and lessons. To EVERY air cadet,i would recommend the Gliding Scholarship and Pilot and Navigator scheme!!! Take the oportunities while you still can!
Hi i am a air cadet of bristol and glos wing i went to cranwell in april 2008 for a atc camp and i was lucky enough to go 2 times with 7 aef in the tutor and 1 time sitting inn the jump seet of a king air with 45 squadron and i also got to go for a flight in the Dominie Jet with 55 (r) Squadron
Lucky guy indeed. Just come back from a week at RAF Cranwell after doing a gliding scholarship at Syserston. Got to look around the King airs and Dominies. Was offered a flight in a King Air but was too busy doing my GS!
Nice little vid mate! Was that Flt Lt John Mcrea (Of the BBC's 'Fighter Pilot' fame) flying you in the Grob? He's at RAF Cranwell on the EFTS Sqn I believe.
So Air Cadets gets you a free PPL am i right ?

Great video. I heard Chris Barnes had something to say after you used his phrase "Cool beans" in the gliding video :D
I was just wondering what camera you used to film all this, it's great quality.
