The race lasted for 1 minute. Quarter mile is about 400m, so their average speed was 23km/h which is 14mph. No wonder polices never catch them if their cars are so slow.

@SeaBannanna What's even more funny is when they "modify" the Chargers, and suddenly they become the older model charger. The tail lights suddenly change from the ones you see here, to the previous model. LOL. It's a completely different body, so if you say they "switched the tail lights" you are dead wrong. That can't be done. You'd have to change the entire car for that to happen. The trunk, bumpers, tail lights, doors, quarters, fenders, hood, all different.

@SeaBannanna They did not switch it to manual for this movie. Too much work to do that. Trust me. There's only one manual transmission Dodge Charger in the world, and it's the MOPAR blue drift charger. Notice how in this movie, any shot with a Dodge Charger you NEVER see the clutch. EVER. It's because it's an automatic. The only Dodge car shown in this movie that's a manual is the Dodge Challenger at the very end of the movie.

I find it funny that they keep shifting the shifter like it's a manual transmission.. because Dodge Chargers only come in automatic... What are they doing? Shifting into Neutral? Into Park? LoL. So much for Dodge's slogan "Never Neutral." =P LOL!!!
