@worldneedsguts i love alice, but if you think this is an even halfway decent vocal performance you have no musical knowledge whatsoever. He's drunk off his ass, and i've never heard someone sing so flat and off-key.

@PeterCRissKISSgod This performance is the Anti-showbizz vocal performance, and therefore is my favorite representaion of the Alice Cooper character. Alice is the flip side to society and therefore his vocals should be as well. It is the most "real" sounding vocals I've ever heard. Once again, just my opinion.

I think for those bass drums he's using pedals with the beaters reversed, and the drums sitting on floor tom legs. During "I'm 18" from this same show, the camera goes behind the drummer and you can see them in use.

J/K, looks like they were some great shows. I was unfortunately too young to catch him at that point (first rock concert was Black Sabbath / B.O.C. in the fall of '80)...
