That is something nearly every game uses except those who use opengl, and you need a graphics card that can handle 3d wich every card can. And the 360 version uses it and the ps3 use opengl.

TF2 Is strictly multiplayer, it is for XBox live I guess, but primarily for the PC. All of the games were originally made for the PC but ported for xbox. So you can play them all on xbox but you need Live for TF2 because it is multiplayer.

meh, i had to make it pc so that is why I didn't use her real name. the setup was for ricky and if I screwed up what episode the person that can't understand normal thinking, showed up in... I am sorry and take this mistake very seriously. So, I fired myself, only to find out that I had pictures of myself and sued myself for sexual harassment based on those photos. due to the case I can not go into details however, I promise that this episode mistake will never happen again, unless it does.

Don't know about mass effect but The Orange Box is like adding the Godfather to your movie collection. (that is if you like first person shooters) It is a something you just have to have. Steam is a game manager / multiplayer client / adware / auto patch-er ... that the manufacture installs on your computer. It good and bad depending on your feelings about ads, privacy, control...

how is mass effect? is it a rail game? I am so disappointed with Kane & Lynch, Gears of War and Jericho. Jericho being the worst. I like games that don't travel down a track like your riding a crummy haunted house carnival ride were you feel like your tethered to a leash destine to follow the same path regardless of your actions. (can you tell I am working on a review of these three ;) ) but I am wondering if Mass Effect is any good?

Hell man, if you didn't like Gears than I'm not sure what you would think of Mass Effect. Because not only is Mass Effect a sickass game, but it's action is almost exactly like Gears'. It's a 3rd person shooter RPG. And i would say that even if the game itself sucked, the story would make up for it.

But yea man, Mass is sick. They did an amazing job. The fnny thing is though, that the actual gameplay graphics look better than the cutscenes. but yea, you need to go get it. Its basically KOTOR plus Gears.

mass effect was an amazing game. play through it, get some achievements, play through it again. but after that, the fun for the game seems to be over. but after you're finished with Mass Effect you can go and buy Half life Source on Steam so it's a win win situation lol.
