That looks like the bus that was parked in Detroit at a Cadillac dealership. The bus was just as unique looking and had a huge Cadillac emblem on the nose. It was at Grand River and 7 miles up until the mid 1980's. My dad would drive me down to look at it, but not allowed too close as it was in a fenced lot at Dreisbach Cadillac.
It's really cool that a guy in my town in Sweden bought Futurliner number 8. It's in bad shape but he says the work should be finished about ten years...
Too much television today, and not enough hands-on for our youth. Not talkin' about video games, i-pods, etc. Wouldn't it be great to have such a caravan today? Excellent narrative and video.
Did this vehicle sell for $3m. at a Barrett Jackson auction a few years ago?

Are there any records of which shows went into which wagon? #8 is under restoration in Sweden right now.

This has to be where the writers for the spped racer cartoon got the idea for the monster car. Ofcourse in the cartoon they are much longer.

Seems to me that, those art-deco style "Batman Cartoon's that Warner made back in the early nineties. Drew these into the series quite a few times!!
