Keep an eye on your wife's arm near the top of the lift, she brings it into flexion for an instant(bends at the elbow). She's gotta watch not to engage the biceps/brachialis during the deadlift. It's not necessary in any way and adds a significant risk for a tear. I usually don't post comments on videos but this could save her some problems later. Good strength.
A rounded back isn't necessarily bad. Many of the world's best ever lifted that way. As these kids muscle up their form will improve. My son does the same thing. I keep on him to minimize it, but some is do to his body proportions, shorter torso and long arms.
the son's rounding his upper back on the deads. not a good call. make sure he lifts with good form, and make sure he is using a weight he can lift properly with good form...sometimes kids don't know their limits so well. and lifting heavy weight with bad form leads to injury more often than not. sorry if i'm stating the obvious. just trying to be helpful.
Don't use belts (work up to heavier weights from light - develop muscle belt, not this crutch) and tell your wife to rest full weight of bar on floor between each rep. Part of challenge is RIPPING the bar off the floor!

im assuming your wife had 2 45s on each side and the standard bar weights 45, so thats 225.

I tried lifting 60kg - 100+kg when I was 9, couldn't even get them off the ground.
