  • Ps keep the feet closer together for a better catch... But def keep pulling that hard

  • Its that was my gym I would have smashed him for missing it so many times lol he could easily squat clean it

  • lol u look powerful

  • I gotta give it to you just for trying it so many times. Even though you didn't get it, it takes more than enough patience just to keep trying

  • What's up with you internet lifting "gurus" thinking you actually know what he's doing wrong? He's Rob fucking Orlando! I'm sure he knows how to do power cleans. Unless you actually have valid credentials with experience mentoring professional athletes, stfu

  • those are some ugly fuckers

  • @erikglynn. Dude, I was thinking more like small horses.

  • Your clearly a powerful dude and your pulling it high enough, but definitely work your front rack (shoulder & wrist flexibility) and do full cleans as well so you can drop without splitting. Splitting puts you in a poor position to receive the catch and you could achieve the same with a safer/more stable squat stance drop to parallel.

  • good determination i was really hoping u would get it

  • what does rob eat?

  • @xxXCOLSONXxx Babies

  • haha getting angry at your own terrible form?

  • @LHD4life *cough* thats what a power clean is supposed to look like. (ie not a squat clean)

  • @wesisagisback Have you ever seen a qualified oly lifter do a power clean? These are frog cleans, as far as his stance is concerned.

  • why put the all those 15's on just put 45's...

  • @JNorthKilla94

Yeah, you don't need to work up to a 300 pound power clean or anything...

  • Ive always had issues racking the weight on my collar bone because I feel like my wrist are flexible enough or im not quite rolling the bar onto my fingers. Is their anyway to get past this flaw and improve my technique? I want to say its almost as if the bar is resting on my palms. It really affects my lift.

  • @ESDiaz64 Work on flexibility in the triceps area, this is where a lot of the flex issues come from when in the rack position, also warm up the wrists (simply look up wrist warm ups on you tube or google) prior to lifting to make sure you have as much mobility and flexibility in the wrist area as possible. Last, just be disciplined in holding the rack position, make sure you are actively engaging the proper form until it becomes second nature. After a couple of weeks you will be good to go.

  • If this happens I like to drop the weight by 60-90 pounds, and basically work my way back up. But if it isn't there sometimes it just isn't there...

  • you have it, just have to expload more from the hips and when that happens drop underneath it like a front squat and you have it. That's how i was when i was first power cleaning but practicing proper form i went in high school from 265 to 345 because i started exploading more with the hips which propelled the weight and made it feel lighter than it was. Just keep trying you'll get it

  • Ah man. I was hoping he would get it, finally. I feel your pain, man. I hope you post a follow up video where you get it!!! Good luck to ya!!

  • you gotta pull yourself under the bar. your pulling it very high, no reason to miss thoes. good effort though very strong

  • @pacman6487 they're specifically power cleans, not squat cleans, it's a slippery slope getting yourself under the bar, and if he dips below parallel it's still a no-rep, that's why he's doing the side-split for the catch, so he can't get too far under it and accidentally squat clean.

  • Let's see your high school video ubscared.

  • @UBSCARED this is crossfit, not powerlifting. i'm sure if this is all he did for his entire training he could get up alot more..

  • @UBSCARED No, Curling 315 is stupid.

  • awesome work none the less, strong mofo Rob.

  • ROB IS BEAST--I think he needed to have a wider grip

  • ROB IS BEAST

  • Great effort man! I no where near the weight you toss on your 1st set.
