You can etch them white too. You add a chemical that the laser turns black.

12 minutes for this job??? Sooo looooooooong. This is probably Trotec or Universal (ULS) machine. Try it with Gravograph LS series and you will do it in less than 5 minutes ... you know, in this branch time is money. You've set Laser Power 30%, Speed 100%, Resolution 800 and it takes 12 minutes ... hhmmmm is that 25W CO2 laser tube? Not more, I'm shure. Anyway, somebody asked how it works. That kind of engraving is a removing the surface from engraved area/object.
