Wow moving Gods joke on the lazy and logical lol. I myself moved a few times and found that its mostly others who seem to brake or lose stuff more then you do.. I never let my grandmother touch my two ton computer again =P. Also it would be much easier if everyone just left their things behind so anyone who moved would be set to move in right after perches. Hope you get a better pet and that it lives through any possible moves.

I hate moving too. Last time I moved, I kept the boxes with the stuff in them. After 7 years, 60% of them are still sitting in the basement unopened. If I'm ever short on cash during the Christmas season, I may wrap them all up, stick them under a huge xmas tree and let my daughter open them.

Two words, re! Rubbermaid containers! I used them when I moved. Let me guess; the movers would refer to themselves as elinas? lol. "Georgos, move something first, then smoke! don't pull this tipota crap on me! screw it, I'm hiring eglezi next time!"

Yeah, but the problem is that after you move, you've got a house full of Rubbermaid containers.

Depending on how much time you have, the best way is to rent a U-Haul or something and move a bit by bit yourself (especially the delicate stuff).

That way you leave the "hardy" stuff for the movers.

You can also use those "Pod" things which are a bit like mini-containers that go on the back of a truck.
