  • 4 ppl were not born on the bayou

  • Hey, Marty Mcfly became a great musician!

  • he lost nothin Estarrs.. are you serious?

  • It's great to see John performing, but it is sad that he lost one of the greatest soulful voices ever, but can still sing better than most at over 60. No disrespect but he sounds like a lounge version of his former band CCR.

  • @estarrs The opening line for Born on the Bayou started my loving CCR. But I agree that the power isnt there in this performance. Still however looks and sounds great as it is.

  • John Fogerty is one of the best performers in the world. He looks like he enjoys his music and I have always been a fan. Hope he lives long and continues to sing and produce good music. He is blessed.

    jerrymblack@yahoo.com

  • no vevo i do not want to watch lady gaga i want to fucking watch fogerty!

  • KENNY ARONOFF was born to drum

  • ROCK ON JOHN & KENNY !!!!!!

  • HELL YEA

  • Fogerty is one of my favs for sure. still kicking ass as always just wish i could see him in concert! ROCK ON BROTHER!!!

  • Big time favorite!!!

  • What a fucking legend

  • gotta love the crowd in the front row! I think they are awesome and adorable. They look so happy!

  • That drummer just loves life.

  • Yo estudiaba en la secundaria 66 de mexico d.f. por aquella epoca en que esta cancion se tocaba en la radio 4 decadas despues aun me estremece

  • he can still play and sing at his age. the tune still sounds great. I can't say the same for the likes of the Stones. They are my favorite band, but for pete's sake, they just aint got it no mo. Thier last good album was Tattoo You and I wouldn't listen to anything live by them after the early 80s. But Fogerty can still do it.

  • This guy always has the best players, and what a show he puts on, every time! I've been blessed to have been listening and seeing him since the 60's!

  • great tune from beginning to end.....

  • Thank you John. Best song ever!.and green river of course.

  • born in iglo straight outta alaska

  • our band covers this, but just a bit harder

  • craziest drumming I've ever heard/seen.

  • Fogerty for his age, just an iconic living legend....blues and rock, it just does not seem that way anymore. todays music can truly eat meals out of the toilet

  • Rolonaaaaaaa!

  • Come my friends, let me point something out to you. There are 0, count em, 0 disikes for this video, and this just makes sense to to me. but, something that doesnt make sense it that this vid only has 170 likes. Of the 83,881 views, only 170 views tsk tsk tsk

  • I never knew Right Said Fred played drums !

  • Of all the music I love listening to, CCR and John Fogerty will always top the list. I was too young back in the day to see CCR live but it has been a never ending fantasy of mine to see them. Would it not be the the absolute coolest if John Fogerty, Stu Cook and Doug Clifford were able to put aside their differences long enough to perform one more CCR concert. I think the public's response to it would be overwhelming and I know there is no chance in hell that I would miss it.

  • I wish I was in the front stage row. Wow! What a privilege.

  • 0 Dislikes.. werd.. now watch someone hit that button like a pos lol

  • Great song but this one is too fast. Missing that swamp sound that I love on the video show on here, live from the 60's.

  • Kenny Aronoff ... Well, as soon as John fogerty gets himself a good drummer, then ... he'll have a great band, eh?

    I kid ... I kid ....

  • You know it still amazes me that a band like Creedence Clearwater Revival can sell millions of records, I think they had three platinum and a dozen or so gold albums, yet they never had a number one album or a number one song. How does that happen?

  • I saw John at Wembley 2007 and he was simply awesome,as was the band.2 hours of the greatest americana Rock n Roll ever.Been my idol since 1969,his music is timeless.

  • John Forgerty stills Rocks!!! Just a Tremendous Singer! Sings with his Heart! Born on the Bayou is my Favorite Song! His Band kicks some serious butt... they swing and have a serious groove going on!

  • I hate people who think his voice will sound the same after 40 years. Either way its cool to see the original singer of these songs.

  • John is forever the "american rockstar", and Kenny Williams (Mellancamp's drummer) is another great old school drummer.

  • When I was a child I heard this song and still I can't help playing the D/D/A/A/E riff when I have a guitar in my hands.

  • I am going to kill all VEVO people,, only vevo lags,, all vevo laggs,, you suck,, you come to take contril,, you wlll die

  • @ikambor your mum

  • pick up a flat rock skip it across Green River!

  • How bout that drummer...rocks!!!

  • The man played at Woodstock.

  • i agree! not the same voice.too high and nasal!

i saw ccr in 1970.my favorite

  • @MrKenny1955 but, still good on guitar :-)

  • wow-real John Fogarty

  • not the same voice, i'ts sad

  • love the song-------hate vevo

  • What`s so cool is the band is just as much into it as John himself. These guys are great together. Gotta love the tone the P90`s give the Les Paul gold top.

  • @DoubleVisionandco awww yeah P90s holy grail of pickups

  • vevo-go away--

  • what is with VEVO -- they totally suck - where did they fucking come from and WHY IN THE HELL ARE THEY STILL OPERATING? VEVO, GO AWAY FOREVER - we USED to be able to listen to youtube -- stop posting and we will be able to actually watch vids again - how in the hell are you still able to be dominate on youtube ---- GO THE FUCK AWAY

  • Lord, what a tone!!! Look at the crowd on the front row (1:24)!!! Congratulations John on 40+ years of kicking serious ass!!!

  • This man/artist/singer is still got it...............Play on

  • John Fogerty still kicks ass!!!!!

  • No lip syncing.....No background dancers.......No 22" rims...........

This is what live music is about !!!

  • @DaBigBassMan hal-le-freakin'-lu-jah!!!

  • @DaBigBassMan And no throwing money in the air and showing hos

  • man, prolific, you can't touch this!!! still have my old tapes of this stuff...

  • This one old man that still has it. Blast from the past. Enjoy. Later.............

  • Just listened to Green River live in England on youtube and on that clip KA sounded astonishing good. Tried this one again, but here he does not fit in my ears, I'm sorry. But high quality never the less. :)

  • I hope we can see him live sometime here in Costa Rica

  • One of the best of all times!!

  • Great song but I don't care for the sound of the drums. Listen to CCR playing the song live, the drums sounded much, much better. Probably an excellent drummer but it sounds like a canned drum track. Kinda ruined it for me. YMMV

  • @toneseeker61 I agree, A drummer has to support, and make music. Can take his moments to shine though. But this guy does not seems to know what the music needs. Check out Carl Palmer to see a drummer who knows what he is doing.

  • @juulbrie

I'm sure that if John didn't want Kenny doing that he would told Kenny not to.

  • @tazzboy77

Coold well be. Don''t have the insight. ;) Love the music anyway.

  • @juulbrie No, I don't think so. Kenny Arenoff is one of the best drummers in the world and that's why he plays with John. His music requires a strong backbeat!

  • I NEVER GET TIRED OF HIS MUSIC
