@GeorgeVreelandHill The frame was more than likely bent and it's made out of aluminum which is really expensive to have straightened. The motor has probably been pushed back some. There's tons of body and suspension damage to this thing. And on top of that those fenders are made out of carbon fiber which is extremely expensive to replace. Unfortunately this car was more than likely totalled.

My uncle gave me a mag red 98 C5 4 my late Bday gift . i'm gonna keep both and use the 98 as my daily driver and keep the 97 in the garage since pulling more power . Serprisingly the insurance isn't all that bad . Not cheap , but its not crazy high neither . now if i had a 03 , i would have sum problems ...

lol they're not racing cars, they're sports cars. Ok they've got a good standard performance but their reputation is better than their real performance. We screwed a porsche boxster with a mazda3, I know a boxster is pretty much the cheapest porsche you can get, but still a little embarrassing losing to a 25 grand car in a 75 grand "racing car".

lol well I said that I realize that the boxster is the cheapest one, meaning also less performance. And I really hope that a 911 or a caymanS would kick a mazda3's ass, if not, I would think of porsche even worse than now.

ahhhh there is a ton of wierd stuff in this world that is wierd i guess porsche turned the 08 cayman s into a show car cause i have a 94 T-Bird that has more horse power and torque but the cayman is lighter and turns better but there is one thing i have to say is that ferrarri and gm are just wannabes compared to Ford and Porsche!

Well I wouldnt call GM wannabes, but Ford does build some very nice sports cars, coming from a GM man nota bene. I really love the Ford GT and the new 'stang.

try the 06 GTZ1 R/S top end 270mph:non-production or the 92 GT90 with a top end of 250mph:non-production, and gm does make some good looking models but that was back in the 60s and 70 s looks anyways the 69 camaro ss my favorite chevy as for racing lacks a sturdy body frame trust me i have an uncle who raced vettes he is prettey lucky to be alive from the crash he was in and it wasn't even a race! gm vehicles are for show porsche is for racing Ford is for everything in the water on land & air!!!
