I Love Emmy and think that she is wonderful, but she cannot compare to Sarah. The beautiful uniqueness of Sarah's voice makes her Christine. The reason Phantom fell in love with Christine was not because she was merely beautiful and could sing, it was because she had a voice like no other he had ever heard, because she had the voice of an angel And to that end, Sarah is and probably will always be the best Christine. All of the others are too conventional in style and technique, Sarah stands out

I love P.O.T.O. i know every word and every breath I'm in ,love with the movie so I agree that Emmy did a better job plus her innocence helped the character but I also argue that Sarah did a remarkable job but without the issue between Sarah and Andrew we wouldn't have the greatest film of forever and 2004=)

This song benefits so much from a powerful voice! :) Sarah's version gives me goosebumps every time. Emmy's just makes me cringe. You have to have a disciplined voice to do a song like this justice.

I like sarah's voice better, but I think I'll go with the newer version on this one, it just looks too rushed and clumsily edited. That and sh's singing about how much she griefs for her father wile keeping that deer-like smile on her during the entire length of the song, she doesn't have the right melancholic expression to make this scene work, but that's just my opinion.

I must say I really like the father&daughter moments in this clip. It's much better than the scene in the 2004 movie. It shows more Christine's love for her father and how much she needed him in her situation. I think it would be great if they could make a 1992 version with Sarah and MC. I don't say the 2004 one is bad, but it would be very interesting with the original Christine, Erik and Raoul. And the old style effect is good for classic story like POTO.

Yes. It was released generally later on 1993's "The Premiere Collection" (VHS, CD and presumbaly audiotape. I'm not even going to guess at a DVD, though that'd be awesome).
