There are lessons in everything - what can we learn from this? Don't judge. Be compassionate, just because a teacher makes a video and has some popularity does not mean he or she is perfect whatever that is. But right now you are being given an opportunity - don't judge and show compassion.

Hmm... Every yoga teacher I have ever worked with has us all stand up very slowly "one vertebra at a time". I just tried it how he was showing it and... yeah.. um, that kind of hurts.

I can't stand this guy since he left his wife of 24 years for one of his students. And he has 3 children. I gave away the yoga DVDs with him in it and I won't be buying any more.

Yeah when I first heard that I was torn. Cause I looked to him as a good role model and said how could he do that. Then I came to the conclusion the he is just a person to. And he wouldnt have been doing those things if he was happy in his marriage which we dont know how it was. But aside from his personal life he has the best yoga videos I have come across and his practices are my favorites. But I know how you feel.I felt like I was betrayed or something. But we just have to accept him as human

i didnt know that about him, that's so bad, i know that its his personal life and nobody else's business and that he is just human and all those things, but i just cant stand guys that do that, is just such a low punch and humilliating for the wife, its a public humilliation. Its so sad.

@Topaz4321 57% of marriages end in divorce and few of those last 24 yrs, so I'd say he did well. I'm sure his children are older by now. He is an Iyengar trained Yogi, so I love his videos.

I have neglected my pratice for over a year, I got caught in College courses and everything else, at the end I snapped. I have started my pratice again, Rodney is very correct about the importance of strength of the legs and feet. Mine are in need of alot of work. He is a good guy. hottie.

That first pose he does: uttanasana, probably wasn't what sent him to get back surgery (Rodney did have back surgery), but teaching it to people in a video is what will send THEM to get back surgery.
