Brookstone and airhogs aircraft usually aren't the best... brookstone ones being overpriced as well... syma, viefly and jiayaun are high-quality indoor heli companies.
Williams499 thank u and btw I actually got the air hogs sharp shooter yesterday but thank u 4 helping really apreciate it I will posibly post a flight video of it tommorow if u choose 2 see it
@MrPopracing 99 bucks @ Target or total rape pricing on ebay and Amazon. I've busted my balance bar-the one part not included and most important besides the motor pretty much- and am S.O.L. till I can get a spare. IF I can that is. Get another one with parts available fairly easily is my advice.
@ReliableFpsGamer Any RC helicopter can break if crashed hard enough or enough times. Air Hogs ones are among the most durable on the planet. More expensive, "higher-quality" helis are built with stiffer, lighter-weight materials that will break much more easily than any Air Hogs will.
I broke my 1st set within 2 weeks. I called Air Hog and the rep told me that I can go to a hobby shop and buy generic blades that match the size. I havent tried yet.
Hey @RCManiaDotCom, have you heard about the new Egofly Hawkspy Lt-711? If you have, and if you buy it, do you mind maybe making a review for it? Thanks Jang!
Same price, all metal parts, replacement parts cheap and easily available...
Team RC Volition
Not trying to be a hater or troll, but 100 dollars is a lot of money for this airhogs thing. I didnt even fly mine after the first flight. I took it apart and used the motors for a C130 im building.
Just picked one up at Target two days ago for the heck of it. I've been having a blast with it outside when it's calm, but the review is right, any breeze and it will affect it or take off in a direction you didn't want. The first day was pretty breezy, but I went for it anyway and took it into many a tree and other objects. This was my first helicopter flying experience and by the next day, I'm pretty proficient at it and having a blast. Now I want bigger and better. :)
Thanks for the review, Jang. I trust all of your reviews for RC Mania Dot Com and I have saved myself lots of time, money and (possibly) grief / buyer's remorse by viewing your videos. Do you take video review submissions for other obscure, toy grade RCs? I have some RC vehicles from the past few years that are not listed at RC Mania Dot Com. Anyway, great job on all the reviews. They have been extremely useful to me.
If you really want to create a toy review channel for kids, then you would film kids flying the toys you review. Simple for me to understand. Obviously not for you!
@FourDollaRacing RCMania is wildly popular and successful and gets a steady stream of "thank you" notes from parents, grandparents, and kids alike. So, that.
@FourDollaRacing It is to show the toys on their peak performance, if a kid would be piloting lets say this helicopter then we would never be able to say if it is really good or not. Now if this guy, who is a pro, pilots it then we can see by the little imperfections (if there are any) that the toy itself might be too much to handle for children, personally I think this guy is doing a great job. Try looking at "review" videos of kids on the net, you will notice that they are never accurate.
@FourDollaRacing Parents dont need to see kids flying stuff. They need facts and useful information, which this reviewer provides. Simple for everyone to understand. Obviously not for you!
@FourDollaRacing well I think for a 99.99 and because is big this is not a Kids toys. my 2 cents. The review is really good and help me to choose this model for me.
@wallwill50 The MCX2 costs $20 more, is significantly smaller, and most people who would be exposed to the Gryphon in the marketplace don't even know hobby-grade RCs exist, and absolutely could not control a 4-channel heli.
Removed your comment because I don't need profanity on this toy review channel for kids.
@RCManiaDotCom then go on amazon.com and get a 30 dollar that comes with a wall charger port and a controller charger port itsa called a s107 and just the same u have a review of it
(Addition) this airhogs chopper, however, is an exception. It's really stable and controllable.

That's crazy how it just shuts itself off. I guess it's not a good idea to fly too high when it's nearing the end of it's run time.
