But this is still pretty fucking good. One of the best 'Like A Stone' covers I've seen on Youtube.

Oh. You think Chris Cornell is a good singer. Well you're certainly entitled to that opinion. Music, like visual art, is very much a matter of personal taste after all. I think that Cornell sings like a herniated badger and uses his "rockstar edge" to mask his lack of range and control, leading me to conclude that this cover outstrips the original. Just my opinion.

I definitely agree though that the original was needed to lead to this one and that this is an impressive cover.

OK, I respect your opinion too so I'm not gonna argue. But saying he has a lack of range and control certainly contradicts what alot of people commend him on, which is his range and his ability to control that range so he doesn't sound like Robert Plant gone wrong. Music listeners admire Cornell's voice, trust me.

Have you listened to much of his Soundgarden stuff? eg. 'Beyond The Wheel' Because he definitely shows range in that. And if you didn't know, he's made it into many top vocalists lists by magazines.
