Summer of 1984, listening to Radio Jackie or Carolne (can't remember) and this came on. Blew me away. I was 18 and would normally reject such a syrupy song, but this one stood out. Thanks for posting, really chokes me up. Reminds me of much much better times.

Thanks for posting this one, I haven't heard it in many years. It only scraped that bottom of the charts in late 1984/early '85. Sad at the same time, no need to say what the song is about.
