@bloodmary23 the way most slaughterhouses kill their animals are human, they are stunned and are braindead before they even hit the floor, they dont feel any of it, the only way you are going to get meat from an animal is to kill it. if you actually went to an abattoire to see it done you would think differently.

The animal enters through a tunnel and as soon as it exits it is stunned with a captive bolt to the head which renders it unconcious instantly. It no longer has any awareness of the bleeding out process which leads to it's death. The carcase is only cut up after the animal is dead. The only barbaric method is carried out by muslims and jews where they cut the throat of a fully concious animal.
