  • OMG I have been looking for this track ever since I saw that ep last year! Finally someone makes a video with it! THANK YOU!

  • accoustic version is way better imo. to bad that one is so short. Anyone know a way to get the accoustic version only more duration like this one?

  • @GreenskinHolland What the hell are you talking about acoustic version?

  • This song is similiar to the 28 Days soundtrack "In a house In a heartbeat"

  • A PONY!! :D

  • Would you be able to get the song that played when they found Sophia as a walker in season 2 episode 7 at the end of the episode. Please and Thank You.

  • Daryl Dixon : Nooo!!.

  • This is amazing. Is there a download for this song without the gutair!??

  • @WhoCanTheCANCANcan

    I found only this

    watch?v=RyfVlY8P_7I&feature=related

  • can you upload the original version? the one without the guitar solo? please! :D

  • this song is just guitar over the 28 weeks later song

  • I watched the whole first season again this past week and weekend and i loved this scene, the music made the two moments be perfect. 1) Shane beating Ed to the ground because he hit Carol and 2) when Daryl found out that Merle had gotten away from his hand being removed. I loved it. I cant wait until February 2012 when the last half of Season 2 comes back on. :D

  • SOME ONE PLEASE MAKE A RIP OUT OF THIS AWESOME THEME I WANT THIS SONG

  • Anyone got the version without the guitar?

  • @hesketh7085 i want that one also i'f you have the song please share ;p

  • does anyway no where i can get the version without the guitar the one used in the show

  • For anyone looking for this song: Bear McCreary did this version, but the one from the episode (sans guitar) is from 28 days/weeks later - "In the house...In a Heartbeat" from 28 days or "Theme" from 28 weeks later.

  • @eyelinerXirony They sound similar, but that's a completely different song.

  • Do you know where to find the original version of this? The one that was used in the show?

  • that hand creeped me out

  • Epic theme, perfect fit to the situations it went in...

  • It sounds a lot like the song in Kickass when the two heroes are being held and the lil' chick comes to the rescue, at least that is what I recall:p

  • So there is no full version of this song? What a shame, it's a good song. One of the best build-ups in the entire series so far!

  • this is great but do you know where i can find the original??

  • who knows where that ugly, rascist biker (AKA L4D Francis) going to appear next?

  • @benjedimaster I took somehow liking to him. He was only character in the show to fit "Action hero" archetype. Scenes with him were intense.

Id change all the surviving bitches on show to have exciting people like Merle show up again.

  • nooo!! NOOO!!! NOOO !! NOO!!

  • "NAOO! NAOOO!"

*pan over to see Merle's hand and the bloody handcuff*

    "NOOOO! NAAOOOO!"

  • @0180917 Lmfao, I think he sort of sounded a bit like Timmy from Southpark when he was screaming. LOL

  • Also, I really really need this track.

  • I loved it but if it didn't have the guitar in it

    would be lovely

  • @baileyandlucy123 But it still sounds more epic with it.

  • @alienz194 yeah your right i can liove with it

  • @baileyandlucy123 Seriously? The wild/ugly guitar IS the song. Take that away and its just some shitty rip off of "in a hearbeat"

  • If that guitar wasn't in it, I would have loved it a lot more.

  • does anyone know the song thats play in episode 6 when the doctor is explaing stuff about the brain and ts-19? please respond asap

    THX

  • I liked it ALOT without guitar solo. Sounded better and more dramatic.

  • @griffin7474 i concur

  • @griffin7474 i also liked it without the guitar

  • @griffin7474 I agree completely.

  • Thank you very much I been trying to find this everywhere but never could!

  • I read on his word press blog that the full soundtrack is going to have tracks like this one missing. Because its a show exclusive. What a crock. Music is for everyone to appreciate, not a select few individuals. This society we live in really needs to start taking a stand against all this , copyright, exclusive limited edition situation and start sharing more. Money certainly is not everything, if it even has a point. Thanks uploader for supporting my point. Incredible series.

  • @OrdoMalleusArchive the society you're talking about use dollars as a language so i hate to be the one who tell you this but all that would only happen in dreams

  • @OrdoMalleusArchive This is the one I really wanted, too. It really is like 28 Weeks Later. Rip-off, and they won't even have it available? What the heck? Pretty much encouraging illegal downloads.

  • @OrdoMalleusArchive

So we won't get this awesome track even if we buy the soundtrack?

    .......

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

  • @OrdoMalleusArchive

Also, yeah, you're right. Maybe there need to be more petitions for stuff like this. Or other things, to show that when we get a soundtrack, we WANT IT ALL!

All the little tracks or if they can, all the little tracks combined into an average sized track.

This is why many people (who know about them anyway) like game rips as opposed to official soundtracks.

  • @733t13 UR RIGHT ITS A SHAME TO LET THIS SONG GO TO WASTE.THINK ABOUT FAMILY GUY WHEN IT WAS CANCELED AND LOOK NOW ITS BACK!!! I THINK WITH ENOUGH SIGNATURES WE CAN ALL GET THIS SONG TO BE ON THE SOUNDTRACK THUMBS UP MY COMMENT IF ANYONE ELSE AGREES?

  • @OrdoMalleusArchive We can't forget the difference between a creative artwork and a copyright or patent though, and that line is rapidly blurring.

  • but this song sure as shit reminds me of that song from 28 days/weeks later. It has the same effect on me. Awesome

  • @Matriculon well john murphy did some songs for the walking dead so its likely he helped with this one

  • @Matriculon i know which one your talking about its east hastings by - godspeed you black emperor

  • @Matriculon "In The House, In A Heartbeat" ?

  • @Matriculon That would be "East Hastings" by Godspeed You Black Emperor! Incredible band.

  • @Matriculon I thought I was the only one. When he started beating up the guy, i remembered the part when them main char in 28 days later went psycho.

  • @Matriculon I assume that you are talking about "In a House/In a Heartbeat" by John Murphy. If so, you would probably like the song from Call of Duty - World at War soundtrack. Elena Siegman - Lullaby For A Dead. It's a lot like John Murphy's song as well

  • @Matriculon probably because it's almost exactly the same bass line. =D But I'll forgive Bear because he's awesome.

  • @egdqv13234 I love that line :D

  • Damm you!!!!!!!!!!!! Damm you all!!!!!!!!!!

  • Noooooo!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • Where I m can find the full version of this song?Help, who are knows.

  • @NeoVollinger Loads of people are saying it's the song in 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later "In the House - In a Heartbeat" by John Murphy....but I assure you it's not. The song in this video is by Bear McCreary (he names it on his blog as "The Walking Dead - The Hand") and although it has similar chords (maybe even the same, I haven't bothered to check), it definitely definitely isn't the same song like a lot of people are saying. I'm not sure though where you can get a full version of it tho

  • Comment removed

  • Imagine if somthing like this actually happened. If the world went into total chaos like this

  • What is the name of the song?

  • @djklimas3 The name of the song is simply "The Hand" ;)

  • Does anybody have the full version of this song, including the begining. Because in walking dead it starts quiter and without the guitare. And i need that for a live action video i am working on.

  • did anyone notice there was a washer at the bottom of the thing he was handcuffed too so honestly he could have unscrewed it and taken the pipe out and escaped :l

  • Bear McCreary is a frakking genius

  • for the record bear mcreary is a frakking genius

  • this is just a loop of the ending portion you need the full song.

  • Daryl ''NO!!!..... NOOO!!!...NOO!!!.....

  • 28 Days later.

  • Do you you think he could have just kicked the little rusty pipe he was handcuffed to?

  • @WhatTheFrack4 it was funer to cut off his hand

  • Handcuffs are hardened steel, designed to be very hard to cut with your average hacksaw blade.

  • whats the name of original song?

  • Epic scene, though I don't know why Maurel didn't cut the handcuff instead of his hand...

  • @MBenjo thats a real man lol

  • @wesker858858 Hell yeah, a real man cuts his own feet off instead of undoing his shoelaces!

  • @Jaasl lol

  • @MBenjo because the saw was to "dull" or something like that ill go make sure though.

  • @MBenjo and because handcuffs are extremely hard to cut wuth a hacksaw, especially a blunt one. Bone is much softer lol

  • @MBenjo i've been wondering the same thing. he could of sawed through the pipe he was handcuffed to also. it was only an inch or so thick. perhaps the director should of had scratches cut into the pipe to show how merl tried to saw through it before lopping off his hand

  • @freedo333 but at the same time, he was panicking and presumably high on coke. Yeah, it would have made more sense for him to cut through the pipe, but it's also possible he didn't consider the pipe.

  • Fantastic.
