  • hearing stuff would be nice

  • @lego398 lol that would be a major point for mics

where no not getting sound? I just checked the video and the audio is working fine.

  • Could you do this singing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'?

  • @twotees88 If I do another one I'll keep that in mind :)

  • video is so gay

  • Rode rulz

  • Did you make the fat boy from school sing instead of beating him up?

  • @Aiiemusic lol, wow if that is what I did I'd be a bully, or a producer of glee.

  • @toadenk :-) - Just kiddin' :-D

  • why didn't you test the audio by talking about which microphones you're currently testing? now you just look like a retard instead

  • @DanTr90 actually it just has Steve looking stupid, but I assume you are just being a troll. But since I'm a nice guy I'll explain it to you anyway.

It is best to test by reading (off the same page of a book or script) we agreed to do a nursery because its very simple and you tend to listen to the sound more than the words themselfs.

  • Why did you uoload this? :OOO

  • @oribali1 yea had some problems with the Azden, but the rode video mic and rode ntg-1 tests are good tests

  • @oribali1 had some comments by ppl with similar problems with that model of azden and it helped them decide what kind of converter to go with on their cam, some decided to use a pre-amp with it, so still helps, hince why I posted it, although there are other ways (and less expensive) to go than a pre-amp (including different adjustments that can work)

  • Thanks mate, I tried already all that, not much help thou, not bad with magic lantern on the T2i, but definetly much need it a device with preamp, what about the juicelink? the beachtek sucks

  • Hi do you use any kind of preamp with the bechteck? cause I have a bechteck with a Rode NTG2 to my DSLR and the bechteck is useless, I expend 180& and it does exactly the same as a cable converter really, sound comes very low and not that quiet

  • @hotgypsylips I did use a phantom power converter, but not a pre amp

things to check (because your model could run on battery instead phantom pwer if you wished)

you are coming though a converter (and I had same problem with the azden in this video) check all the setting including

what the converter is coming out as (volumn and mic/line also try switching the m/s settings)

and the camera itself (volumn and mic/line)

you may have to turn off anytype of limeter

let me know if this helped

  • I have a Rode mic :3

  • @butterflybutchers :) there is a good reason why they are so popular :)

  • The NTG-1 picked up more of the noise out in the hallway compared to the Video Mic. Both are fantastic Rode products. Why was the Azden so quiet?

  • @WolkaJ I don't know, I need to play with it more, for all I know it could have been that new xlr or batterie cuz first time I tested it, it wasn't that low
