    the price doesn't matter.

    what's the best blues harmonica?

  • Nice riffing at the beginning, pure harmonica Joy!

  • WOW! that's great! Good ear training... as long as i can recognise the notes. thanks

  • intro kinda sounds like hoodoo mans blues

  • Yes! Brilliant!

  • is there any difference between key of c diatonic harmonicas? which harmonica should i get? a hohner blues harp or golden melody or something else?

  • if your beginning you should get a honer special 20 if your somewhat experienced you should get a honer marine band. Assuming that you'll be playing blues

  • @DogaTheGrall Golden melody ..xddd but tell me what you got, given that 2 years have passed by ,p

  • I really like this idea. I am looking forward to giving this a shot! ...as soon as i get time I will post mine too.

  • Thanks for using the C harp. I can always get my hands on a C harp.

  • Adam,

Great idea. Would it be possible to do a series of these as an mp3 download on the website?

  • Adam this is really a cool idea. Are you going to include/post/sell any tab sheets or is this just going to be training by ear?

  • It's strictly training by ear. But Wayne, one of my longtime subscribers who has done other tab sheets, might just help folks out....

  • Very cool idea Adam - maybe have a metronome going in the background (audio)?

  • Dude! PLEASE teach us, ON THE ROAD AGAIN!

  • great idea - i cant wait. Hopefully this will help me move foward i have not been at crossroads since i learnt how to Bend Notes & Tonge block . I have sent you a small token of my appreciation if i was rich id of sent you a vintage Bassman but you already got one so it's just as well -

  • Adam, this is just great. Awesome way to practice. Looking forward to see ya play in Amsterdam.

  • Adam this is a great exercise. Often during my lunch break I'm listening to music, breaking it down and learning to repeat the harp riffs. Currently working on a song from a Kenny Wayne Shepherd cd (Live On, Song #5 Shotgun Blues, harp in the key of A). Thanks for posting this lesson. Great as I can repeat the instruction over and over until I catch on.

  • Looking good Adam!

  • THIS is why the internet is one of the most powerful learning tools on earth in present day. Thank you for the call-response exercise.

  • Thanks Adam, that's a great way to learn, I'm looking forward to seeing your next video!

  • loved this one adam, maybe we can do this in september when yer in Amsterdam?

  • Absolutely.

  • hope they looked after you in northampton my home town

  • Yes they did. I got in a few good runs in the parks and fields near the university. It rained three times a day, every day, and was briefly sunny in between. Nobody made fun of my Yankee accent. Very nice time, all in all.

  • yes its been the wetest august on record here

  • ostringer -

In the UK it's always the wetest August since record's began.

  • Great idea ! It's like the old Simon game but for harmonica. Great lick learning tool. Thanks Adam. --Joe

  • Really amazing. Thank you very much.

    Regards...

  • i loved this, its a great way to learn

  • That was fun. Keep them comming.

  • Haha. The old hat of the joyeus disciples of the blues hamronica is back there, over the book shelf!! .

Nice to have you back Adam, hope the Gig was as good as you spected.

  • now that's a good fan jajaj!

  • *Starts to transpose to his G harp.*

I only own one harp, cause i'm poor and i've lost my mojo, and i've got the blues.

    Plus i can't sleep.

  • Adam,

Thank-you for your wonderful gift, with Modern Blues Harmonica. I enjoy your words of wisdom and anecdotes every bit as much as your innovative instruction.

    Keep up the great work!!!

    Best regards,

    Gerard in Massachusetts

  • Adam,

This is a great idea you have.

    I'm a beginner with all 12 harps and I can't play a one.

    Doing that exercise sounds great.

I hope it works for me.

    Terry in Texas

  • Cool! This will be a challenge.

  • Great ear training Adam! Thanx!!!

  • Thanks again for the great video :)
