  • I've got one, it works completely perfect for my needs. But if you're a gamer DO NOT expect performance in the mid/high end range of games.

  • i have had one,but it is not good just as what the ads says,

  • Worst laptop in world history

  • @delatod Based on???????

  • nice.... Glock version of laptops...

  • I'll buy it next month. ^^ Can't wait.

  • @LanHikari90 i have it . it sucks.. worst gaming computer

  • @xxsnipehshotxx Why does everyone think laptops were made for gaming? I'm a developer and I travel much in my real job. It's a great machine for developing, doesn't suck at all.

  • @LanHikari90 true.. lappy is meant for biz agility n mobility. im a info modeler and enterprise architect.. r400 works fine for all my SOA tools.. the 9 cells last me for almost 5 hours on moderate usage..

  • Fajn ukázka ;-)

  • I like the sound u made

  • It only has a 4 cell battery :(

  • Some configurations have 6-cell battery. In the Czech Rep. are only those configurations. In the video there is 6-cell battery.

  • @Marksley Don't you mean thta's a 9 cell battery? the 9 cell battery hangs out like that I know it because my step father uses a T500 and it has a 9 cell battery and that seems as big like that battery

  • @smellytoilet1996 I'm sure. It's model 744321G which has a 6-cell battery. Batteries for T/R400 and T/R500 isn't same.

  • @Marksley bit there's a thing that I still can't understand. why is a one year warranty on R series and 3 years warranty on T series

  • @smellytoilet1996 Because T series is more expensive and more quality.

  • good vid,but I prefer commentary videos

  • hi!! can you tell me how can i disable the touchpad while im working with an usb mouse?? tks!!!!!

  • You can disable the touchpad with shortcut key Fn+F8 (if you have installed UltraNav driver), or in BIOS, but it isn't comfortable.

  • i have 2 questions. how long does the battery last? does it have a webcam? thanks

  • The battery lasts 5 hour surfing the internet with turned wi-fi and with cca 30% brightness. I have the 6-cell (58Wh) battery.

Yes, this notebook has a webcam.

  • R400, and R61 with 14.1 inch widescreen are my all time favourite.

  • Comment removed

  • Is R61 and R400 are the same?

  • @smellytoilet1996

yes the R61 14.1 inch widescreen is pretty much the same as the R400, apart from GPU and CPU.

  • thx for sharing

  • Thank you so much for your detailed response. It answers all my questions.

Thanks for pointing out that the R500 does not have a rollcage. I missed that on their website. They said the R400 does -- so I assumed the R500 did as well.

    Thanks.

  • Does the R400's DVD-RW Drive have CSS Riplock?

And I'm guessing the R400 do not have a DisplayPort connector? Only the R500?

Thanks! (Thinking about getting one too.)

  • R400 has a CSS. DisplayPort has only R500, but the ThinkPad Advanced Mini Dock has at least DVI. On R500 is missing the magnesium rollcage in display, hence it is softer.

  • Hey Marksley, is that a 6-cell battery you have? I'm not sure whether i should stick with the 4-cell since its smaller, or if the 6-cell isn't that much of a hassle.

    Thanks

  • Yes, it's a 6-cell battery. This batery is supplyes defaultly in the Czech republic. It endures for a five hours with 40% of brightness and active wi-fi. The battery doesn't embarrass. Notebook can be better kept in hand becouse of it.

  • btw, i have this configuration: R400 14,1" T6570/2GB/250GB/ DVD/i4500MHD/cam/ BT/FP/6cell/XP

  • hey nice vid!

im thinking about getting this thinkpad

how well is the build quality?

  • i'm satisfied. notebook is very tough. it endures hard manipulation.
