I'm still sticking with what I said. If you can make a video this long for an opening, Josh could've made the most coolest crossover ever in either season 6 or season 7. Both had the potential of making it awesome. If it was season 5 of Buffy and season 2 of Angel, hell it was crazier. Angel probably would have killed Glory fast, then try to either burn or do Darla

Actually, Josh and Joss are two totally different names - Whedon's BIRTH NAME was actually JOSEPH.
Yeah, it's annoying how they never rely on one another. Even in the Marvel and DC Comic Book Universes, convulted as they are, there are multiple times where Spider-man teams up with the X-men or Avengers, or there's the Justice League in DC ...
Contracts with the cast and crew are the limitation with TV series, that sometimes weaken them.
In fact, the only medium where you can do ANYTHING you want, storywise, without rules is the novel format, and that can be limited the same way movies are - not to mention, if you create an overlong series - like 'Animorphs' - lots of people ignore some installments because they couldn't be bothered to read them all.

Only 2 times I would see both shows going together like that it would've been in season 3 of Angel/season 6 of Buffy cuz of the whole AI team under seige to protect baby Connor and season 4 of Angel/season 7 of Buffy. The whole Beast, Jasmine, Angelus, and The First would've made and incredible plot angle. It fits big time.
