Honestly, even as a child, I always assumed that Splinter went to some cave outside of NYC or something. Or maybe had his own place. I don't think he always stayed with the turtles or maybe he was away from them at that moment.

yeah, the genesis version was definitely hard, but I managed to get through a couple of levels, it just depends on the fighter you pick, plus the music sounded good but not better than the other two. the SNES version is more superior than the NES and genesis version, I think IMO, The NES version is the weakest, the action was slow and the controls were a little unresponsive, and the turtles dont have weapons, WTF?

The SNES version's the best of the three. Nuff said.
